Das Foto wurde im Hafen von Stralsund im Sommer 2017 fotografiert. Zu sehen ist ein Teil der Rügenbrücke, die das Festland mit der Insel Rügen verbindet. Diese wurde im Jahre 2007 fertig gestellt und hat eine Länge 2831 Meter. Die Hochbrücke überspannt den Ziegelgraben und wird daher auch „Neue Ziegelgrabenbrücke“ genannt. Sie hat eine Länge von 583 Meter und ist 128 Meter hoch. Insgesamt fünf der sieben Abschnitte der Querung sind Brückenbauwerke. Die Brücke ist damit, die viert-längste Brücke in Deutschland.
Ein interessanter Fakt: Die vier längsten Brücken Deutschlands stehen alle in Norddeutschland.

Strelasund Crossing

This photo was taken in the harbour of Stralsund in summer 2017. You can see one part of the “Strelasund Crossing” which connects Stralsund with Rügen. The bridge was completed in 2007. This part of the bridge spans the Ziegelgraben. Therefor it’s called New Ziegelgraben Bridge. It’s about 583 meter long and 128 meter high. The complete crossing is 2831 meter long and is the fourth longest bridge in Germany. Interesting fact: The four longest bridges of Germany stand all in Northern Germany.

          Aktuell zwar ziemlich verschneit, aber ja, die Rügenbrücke gehört hier mittlerweile einfach zur Skyline =)
