A Sunset To Remember
Glacier National Park, Montana
Hidden Lake at sunset
There were gorgeous colours in the post-sunset sky the day we hiked into Hidden Lake. A memorable adventure with @caseygrimley, @brandongarrett, @iancox and other good friends who haven't been converted to Steemit yet. We were chased out by a scary lightning storm later in the night, but not before photographing the Milky Way.

That's beautiful. I've always heard Montana is a beautiful state, and now I believe it. The most memorable photo trip I've been on was when a buddy and I bought an old Winnebago camper for $900 and drove it to South Carolina where we got stranded for three weeks! Haha, it's always worth it when chasing waterfalls, though.
I can't speak for the rest of the state, but Glacier is a pretty good poster boy!

Beautiful shot. What sort of exposure time did this have?
Something like 1/6. This one isn't a long exposure. I did take a long exposure which I also liked, but there was something cool about these clouds that was lost in the blur.
When I was at Glacier, I didn't find this lake and now I'm mad! ha. Guess it's aptly named. Great shot man
