Is Iceland really the land of ice?
Well here are two photos taken near Borgarnes, if I recall correctly, during my visit to Iceland, a magnificent country! Iceland is full of hot springs, geothermal pools and geysers because of the strong volcanic activity. You can see that the water in the hot spring we went reached 100 degrees Celsius! So we are talking about natural boiling water coming from the earth!

When were you there? Did you find any ice (or snow)?? I really want to go to Iceland and am open to recommendations!
You definitely should go there, you will not regret it!!!! I was there one year ago, in late March so the cold was not so tense, it was bearable really! Oh there was no snowing the days we were there, just some cloudy days and a little rain, but the snow hadn't actually melted yet so you could see mountains and valleys still covered in snow!
