A visit to Northala Fields

Northala Fields is a country-style park located in Northolt, Greater London. It was opened in the year 2008 and consists of four artificial circular pyramid shaped hills or mounds situated next to the A40 Western Avenue.

These four large conical earth mounds provides a unique landmark for the park and the borough. The viewpoint on the top of the largest mound provides a 360 panoramic view of the surrounding area including Central London and Canary Wharf.

There’s also a Visitors Centre which includes a café, public toilets, classrooms and a fishing office

Another major feature of the park is a network of six interconnecting fishing lakes, a model boating lake and wildlife ponds, streams and wetlands.

This is the largest mound which is encircled by a spiral pathway.

Looking out from the top of the largest mound there’s information boards that help you to work out exactly what you’re looking at.
