Sailing Away 3!

Boats have always been an interesting way to travel, they are engineered to float with extreme loading in most cases. The physics involved to allow smooth travel across waters is a wonder to me and I was very much interested to find out a little more about sailing boats. The design of sailboats seem somewhat simplistic but this is far from the reality. There are ingenious features and components that make sailing an interesting activity to delve into. As the name suggests, the emphasis is much on sailing.

There is a mainsail and headsail that will make use of wind to traverse the waters. I then came to know that there are many different designs in sailboats. Whether it was a dinghy or catboat, each design had their own unique traits. Sailing is involved and I would love to give it a try in the near future.
