White Crows: God's punishment or a deliberate choice?

I have long been interested in the question of Conscious Life Choice. In particular, how "grow legs" such interesting phenomena as «whitecrowry» (idiom from the term "White Crow").

• Note: the term "WhiteCrowry" I invented the type of "human's character with traits "White Crow". For example, what people? brave, trait — bravery.

As the philosopher in the soul and by nature, I wanted to slightly generalize a problem, and then narrow it down to myself-favorite.So, whom are called "White Crow" (in the West accustomed to hear "Black Sheep")? The existence of a White Crow - like form of seclusion from secular society? A kind of distancing from its unpleasant sides? Indeed, living far from the vanity of vanities, to find peace in the soul and harmony with the outside world much easier. But then (I read about that) many returned from "there" to the troubles of society, notice what suddenly so carefully cherished by them Zen Buddhism and calm, just calm evaporated as if they never existed.

Does this mean that they were "White Crow" - those who

has the behavior or value system, that differs from other persons of their community?

Probably not. It was necessary, possible, just discharge. Their Outlook and values would be little different from the values of others. It seems to me, that "WhiteCrowry" - a sort of singularity and "otherness" does not require a complete withdrawal from the world. On the contrary, watching for wolrd from the side, but not actively participating in the consumer frenzy, these "birds" are the most noticeable.

Moreover, each of those, who are called "WhiteCrowry", come to identify with this "bird" in different ways. Most likely, the majority — after long hesitation. And some opened their eyes to the chosenness them more nimble and agile friends or work colleagues.

Does this mean, that "WhiteCrowry" is accompanied by a lack of understanding from others, and their reluctance to see representatives of "the bird" in your chosen circle? That's rigth.

But from my own experience ( and I too consider, already, of this "caste") the distance would most likely be by "WhiteCrowry". Due to the fact, that his interests often contradict or do not have for him the same values as do his entourage. Sometimes, it stems from boredom, real boredom. When, for example, in adolescence and youth, to escape from their environment is impossible, and to coexist with it and have. Me in school was not very nice to call home guests and friends to see another domestic disputes or other family issues. Books and new knowledge I was interested in many times more than a new doll and a toy. While with friends and chat I know how. And fell in love with the boys constantly. Nothing women's things I was not alien.

But if you ask me, to you, Natasha, chose then and now - to observe the habits and behavior of people, analyze them, build hypotheses, and then use knowledge for the benefit of people. Or to lead a factory or plant, I would most likely choose the first option. I think, that the same White Crows for programmers are poets and masters of artistic word. And for the latter - the creators of gcd and open code.

Yes, I admit, in my last examples, the concept of "WhiteCrowry" somewhat vague, but as a factor of different value systems and objectives; as well as other conduct of these two groups of people — explains a lot. We all to some extent —White Crows. Same as for me -- hypotensive and asthenic much in terms of unbridled energy expenditure of individuals, and waste of effort on absolutely useless things, too, is a strange and mysterious phenomenon.

I now come to the most important ( for me at least) question, for the sake of what was started an investigation and writing a post:

My otherness, my desire to contemplate and to observe the surrounding processes, trying to participate in a minimum — a cross, a punishment, belonging to the favourites or the degree of vulnerability? Is it easy for me to be "like this a bird"?

In different years I answered this question in different ways. Becoming older and wiser and learning to change the approach and angle of view on the events, I realized that for me "WhiteCrowry" — is the single available comfortable form of existence. When I'm not playing someone's role. Do what I'm love. I fully agree with the statement that

Time the person's not much to spend it on uninteresting things or people.

In fact all Leaders; all those, who promote the science; who comes up with new clothing styles and new recipes; all those who opens new worlds and laws — a kind of White Crows. They gone beyond the bounds of today's understanding of things. They looked at the problem differently. They came up with an absolutely amazing explanation of a familiar phenomenon.

And let their thorny path, even though they are still not understand and believe the Strange, but this is of little concern to them. They know, they are on the right track. And they all turn out...
