WRONG MESSAGE ( based on real facts )
A Christian couple had some problems in their marriage and instead of seeking help they decided to separate. As the days went by, the man felt that he should approach his wife to settle their differences but he wanted to make it as biblical as possible.
"What would be the biblical text that best fits my good intentions?" Searching in the New Testament he found a passage that caught his attention and that met all his expectations:
1 JOHN 4:18 "In love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear"
"Perfect ... Just what I was looking for." To make it more exciting and interesting, he decided to send only the text so that she would have the opportunity to look for it in the Bible.
Immediately he was filled with courage, he searched for his cell phone and sent the text message with 1 JOHN 4:18. "READY! Now I will sit quietly and confident to await the response of my beloved wife." The minutes, the hours and even the days passed and his beloved never answered him.
"What will have happened? Could it be that you have not read my message?" At the moment, he decided to verify the message he had sent to his wife and realized that he had committed a small, unconscious and insignificant error.
He had not sent 1 JOHN 4:18 but JOHN 4:18 which says:
"... because five husbands have had and the one you have now is not yours"
Practical tips:
1- Be sure to send the correct message when you have an incorrect communication problem.
2- never take the biblical text out of context.
3- Next time give a call to your wife because talking is understood by people.
