출퇴시간 때 한국사람들은 가끔 정신이 없어요. 왜냐하면 회사나 학교에 빨리 가야되니까요. 근데 그런 사람들이 너무 정신없게 다니니까 계단에 빨리 내려가거나 닫히는 스크린도어를 아슬아슬하게 탑승하는 게 때문에 그런 사람들이 넘어지거나 닫히는 스크린도어에 쾅 박은 상황이 있을 수도 있죠!
그러고 나서 그런 사람들이 되게 창피하죠.

근데 한국사람들이 embarrassed이라는 단어를 '당황하다'와 헷갈립니다.

'당황하다' 영어로 뭘까요?

embarrassed이 아니라 바로 surprised입니다.

대화의 예

A: What happened yesterday?
B: I went to the dentist for my appointment and when I arrived there, they told me that I didn't have an appointment, so I was surprised.

B: Yes, I did.

당황할때 영어로 항상 surprised이라고 말해야됩니다.
