Steemit community, Blockchain and Escrow  

들어가며 : 스팀에 대한 단상 

Intro : the momentary thought about Steem Cryptocurrency 

스팀, 스팀달러 그리고 스팀파워라는 암호화폐는 선출된 증인들에 의해 블록이 생성되며, 증인은 블록생성에 대한 보상으로 Producer Reward를 받는다. 특정 주제에 관련된 글쓰기를 통해서 컨텐츠 크리에이터는 스팀달러 또는 스팀파워로 Author Reward를 받는다. 그리고 독자들은 포스팅된 글에 보팅이라는 행위를 함으로써 Curator Reward를 받는다. Producer에서 Author로, Author에서 Curator로 스팀의 흐름은 이루어 지며, 각 삼자의 지위는 서로 간에 유동적이므로 Producer, Author, Curator들은 기존 bitcoin 생태계 또는 외부의 관점에서 봤을 때, 스팀이라는 암호화폐의 일종의 채굴자 역할을 한다고 봐도 무방할 것이다. 이렇게 해서 채굴된 또는 생성된 스팀이라는 암호화폐는 어디에 사용될 수 있을까? 

The blocks of cryptocurrencies like Steem, SteemDollar and SteemPower are made by elected witnesses, and witnesses receive Producer Reward for block production. The content creators receive Author Reward with SteemDollar or SteemPower through posting on a specific topic. And readers receive Curator Reward by doing the voting on the posted contents. Since these cryptocurrencies flow from Producer to Author, Author to Curator, and the positions of these people are not fixed, It can be said that they are a kind of miners of Steem cryptocurrency from the viewpoint of bitcoin ecosystem or outside. Where do we use this Steem cryptocurrency thus mined or generated? 

스팀암호화폐는 거래소를 통해서 타 암호화폐 및 실제 법정화폐로도 상호 교환이 가능하므로, 거래소 일반 투자자들에게 화폐의 교환가치를 주고 있다. 그리고 본인의 포스팅을 스팀잇 내의 홍보사이트에 올린다든지, 보팅봇의 지원을 받아 자신의 글을 홍보하고 싶을 때 스팀은 사용될 수 있다. 또한, 스팀잇 사이트내에서 게임에도 이용할 수 있고, 커뮤니티 활동을 위해 필요한 스팀파워를 임대 할 때, 스팀잇 회원들 간의 도움에 대해 사례 표시를 할 때 스팀잇 암호화폐는 사용되고 있다. 이러한 것들도 일종의 용역이나 서비스 제공에 대한 지불 행위 이므로 경제행위라고 할 수 있지만, 사용범위에서 여전히 아쉬움이 남는다. 

These cryptocurrencies give exchange value to normal investors because it can be exchanged into other cryptocurrency and real legal currencies through exchanges. This is used when you want to post your post on the promotion site in Steemit, or to request for the support of the voting bot. And It can be used as Steemit game money and SteemPower lease or as an expression of gratitude for help among members. Although these are also an economic act because it is a kind of payment for work and services, there are still not enough in use cases. 

그래서 실물경제에 암호화폐가 사용되는 사례를 확대하고, 스팀잇 커뮤니티의 발전을 위해, 스팀잇 블록체인과 에스크로 서비스를 결합하여 한가지 실험적인 프로젝트를 진행하고자 한다. 우선은 스팀잇 커뮤니티 회원들은 암호화폐의 가치를 인정하는 개인들의 모임이므로 충분히 이러한 시도가 가능하고, 개인간의 거래 있어서만은 각국의 법률과 제도로부터 어느 정도 자유롭기 때문에 가능하다고 본다. 게다가 국경을 초월하여 단일화폐로 매우 빠른 결제가 이루질 수 있다. 개인간 거래의 대표적인 것이 개인 소유의 물품에 대한 거래이고, 흔히 중고품 거래이다. 

So, by combining Steemit’s blockchain and escrow service, I want to do one experimental project for expanding the use case of cryptocurrency in the real world and for developing Steem Community. First of all, the members of the Steemit community are individuals who recognize the value of the cryptocurrency, so it is possible to make such an attempt sufficiently. I think it is also possible because only the transactions between the individuals are free from each country’s law and regulations. Moreover, it can be paid very quickly with a single currency beyond national boundaries. A typical example of an interpersonal transaction is a transaction involving your own item, often a used-goods transaction.  

The Used Market with Steemit Blockchain and Escrow 

Ⅰ. Outline 

1. 본 프로젝트의 명칭은 UMSBE(um-seu-bi)라 한다 

2. 본 프로젝트의 목적은 스팀잇 커뮤니티 발전 방안의 일환으로 실물 경제/거래 상의 암호 화폐의 사용 사례를 만들어 암호화폐의 활성화와 가치 향상에 기여를 하기 위함이다. 

3. 스팀잇 블록체인과 에스크로 서비스의 결합을 통해서 신뢰성 있는 중고품 거래 장터를 만들기 위해, 아래와 같은 방법 및 운영방침을 사용한다. 

1. This project is called UMSBE which is pronounced as um-seu-bi. 

2. The purpose of this project, as part of the development of the Steemit community, is to create a use case for cryptocurrency in the real economy and to contribute to the invigoration and the increase of SteemDollar’s value. 

3. In order to open reliable Used Market by combination of Steemit Blockchain and Escrow, comply with the following method and operation policy. 

Ⅱ. How to do 

1. 거래 지역의 구분을 위해 아래와 같은 태그를 사용한다.

2. 판매게시물의 제목 양식과 내용 양식은 아래와 같이 하고, 목적의 부합과 스팀잇 회원간의 거래 편의를 위해 유통화폐는 SBD로 한정한다. 

2. The sales posting form is as follows, and the circulation currency is limited to SBD in order to exactly meet the purpose of this project and simply make a deal between Steemit members. 

3. 블록체인의 공개성과 비가역성을 통해 거래의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해서, 판매자와 구매자는 반드시 스팀잇의 해당 판매포스팅의 댓글을 통해서 의사 소통을 하며, 에스크로 서비스 또한 스팀잇의 계정(@escrow-service)을 통해서 제공된다. 

3. In order to increase the reliability of transactions through the openness and irreversibility of the blockchain, sellers and buyers must communicate through writing comments on Steemit's corresponding sales post, and escrow service is also provided through Steemit's account (@escrow-service)

Ⅲ. Operation Policy Ver1.0 

-거래 당사자간 상호 신뢰를 보장하기 운영 방침은 반드시 지켜야 하며, 회원 상호간의 모니터링으로 방침 준수를 고양하며, 미 준수 시에는 별도의 Guide가 이루어 질 수 있다. 

-To ensure mutual trust between trading partners, the operating policy must be strictly observed, and the monitoring of mutual members will enhance the compliance with the policy. Otherwise, a separate guide can be made. 

1. 거래화폐 

1.1 프로젝트 목적의 부합을 위해서 SBD에 한정한다. 

1. Transaction currency 

1.1 Limited to the SBD for the purpose of the project. 

2. 판매포스팅 

2.1 상기의 양식을 반드시 준수한다. 

2.2 스팀잇 게시 글의 질서 유지를 위해 상기 제시된 지역별 판매 태그 만을 사용하며, 다른  주제의 태그는 일체 사용하지 않는다. 

2.3 판매 포스팅도 업보팅을 받을 수 있으며, 이는 스팀잇 생태계의 리워드로써, 스팀 마켓으로의 진입을 유도하는 인센티브 역할을 함과 동시에 7일 이후에는 판매포스팅이 봉인됨으로 거래에 대한 취소 삭제 부인 방지의 역할을 한다. 

2.4 판매 포스팅에 대한 업보팅은 게시 물품에 대해서 조예가 깊은 사람이 기술적인 관점으로 추천할 수 있으며, 가격적인 측면으로도 우수할 경우, 또는 판매자의 서비스 등 여러가지 항목들로 추천을 할 수가 있다.  

2.5 판매 게시 원칙을 준수하지 안았거나 부정을 목적으로 실제 유통가격 대비 터무니 없는 가격을 게시한 경우 등은 별도로 수정 요청 코멘트하고, 이후 24시간 이내에도 미수정시에는 사유를 명기하고 다운보팅도 할 수 있다. 

2. Sales posting 

2.1 Be sure to follow the above form. 

2.2 In order to maintain the order of posting in Steemit, we use only the above-mentioned sales tag for each region, and do not use any other tag. 

2.3 Sales posting can also take upvoting which is a reward for the Steemit ecosystem, it serves as an incentive to induce entry into the Steemit market, and at the same time, it can be a kind of the prevention of trade cancel and non-repudiation since the sales posting is sealed after 7 days. 

2.4 From a viewpoint of the person who is proficient in the posted product, sales posting can be recommended it from a technical point of view and if the price is excellent in terms of quality, it can be also recommended.

2.5 But, in case of non-compliance of sales posting form or abnormally overpriced goods for purpose of cheating when compared to actual retail price, It is possible to do down-voting with comment of exact reasons if the seller does not adjust it within 24 hours after request for amendment.

3. 거래 성립 

3.1 거래의 투명성을 위해 판매포스팅에 댓글로 구매자와 판매자가 의사소통을 한다. 추가 내용과 배송료 협의 완료하여, 판매자가 배송료가 포함된 최종 거래 가격과 부가 사항(반품조건 등)을 댓글로 남기고 구매자가 이에 동의함을 댓글로 남김으로써 거래가 확정 된다.

3. Transaction establishment 

3.1 For transparency of the transaction, the buyer and the seller communicate by commenting on the sales post. After completing the negotiation about the additional details(Return conditions, etc) and shipping charges, the seller writes a comment on sales post about the final transaction price including the shipping fee and the additional details, and with buyer’s final comment of consent for seller’s comment, the transaction is eventually established. 

4. 개인 정보 

4.1 개인정보 보호를 위해 개인 연락처는 게시를 하지 않는게 원칙이며, 판매자는 구매자의 “세부 배송주소지/연락처/성명”을 알아야 하므로, 거래 확정 이후 판매자는 본인의 책임하에 본인의 연락처를 1회 게시하여 구매자의 정보를 개인연락처로 얻고서 본인의 연락처는 게시물에서 삭제를 한다. 게시물이나 댓글은 7일이 지나면 삭제가 불가하므로 주의한다.

4. Privacy 

4.1 In order to protect personal information, it is a principle not to post personal contacts, but sellers must know the buyer's "detailed shipping address / contact / name", so after the transaction is established, under the responsibility of seller, seller post his personal contact information and remove it from the sales post after receiving buyer’s information. Please be careful that posts or comments cannot be deleted after 7 days.

5. 안전 거래(에스크로) 

5.1 판매자의 이중 거래 방지 및 물품의 미 수취, 물품의 오류, 물품의 파손 등 발생할 수 있는 거래 위험 방지를 위해서 에스크로 서비스를 제공하며, 계정은 @mircokim22 을 한시적으로 운영한다. 이후에는 에스크로 운영 계정 @escrow-service 을 이용한다.(일정별도공지) 

5.2 최종 확정된 거래금액(배송료 포함)의 10%는 판매자 계정으로, 나머지 90%는 에스크로 운영 계정으로 송금하고, 구매자의 거래 완료 컨펌 이후에, 운영계정이 판매자 계정으로 운영 수수료 3%를 제하고 87%를 송금한다. 양식은 아래를 준수한다. 

5. escrow-service

5.1 The escrow service is provided to prevent the double transaction of the seller and the risk of the transaction that may occur due to the unacceptance of the goods, the error of the goods, the damage of the goods and etc. The service account @mircokim22 is temporary one. Hereafter, use escrow service account @escrow-service. Specific schedule will be noticed. 

5.2 The buyer transfers 10% of the finalized transaction amount (including shipping charge) to the seller account and the remaining 90% is transferred to the @escrow-service account. After the buyer completes the transaction confirmation, the @escrow-service account transfers 87% of the finalized transaction amount after deducting operating fee(3%). The form of escrow-service shall comply with the following. 

6. 거래의 취소 및 환불 

6.1 구매자가 구매확정 하여 @escrow-service가 판매자로 송금완료 한 이후는 구매 취소가 불가하다. 단, 구매확정 전 일 경우에는 구매자가 판매포스팅의 댓글에 구매 취소와 사유를 댓글로 남기고 판매자가 이에 동의 함으로써 구매는 취소되고, 구매자는 @escrow-service에게 아래 양식으로 요청하고 @escrow-service는 판매포스팅 확인 후에, 해당 판매포스팅건으로 구매자로부터 송금 받은 금액을 환불조치하고, 판매자 또한 구매자와 반품배송료 및 추가 내용 협의 하여 잔여 금액을 환불 조치를 한다. 

6. Cancellation and Refund of Transaction 

6.1 After the buyer confirms the purchase and the @escrow-service completes the final remittance to the seller, the purchase cannot be canceled. However, if it is before the confirmation of purchase, the buyer can request the cancellation of the purchase to the seller through comment exact reasons on the sales post, and after the seller agrees to the cancellation by reply, the purchase is canceled. After finishing this steps, the buyer requests to @escrow-service in the following cancellation form. @escrow-service will check the posting’s cancellation and then refund the buyer, and the seller will also refund the buyer after completing negotiation of return shipping charge and etc.

7. 에스크로 운영자의 보상 

7.1 안전거래 운영자는 구매자의 거래 실적을 바탕으로 구매자의 일반포스팅에 큐레이팅 행위를 통해서 보상을 제공한다. 

7. Escrow Operator's Compensation

7.1 The escrow operator provides rewards through the curating activity on the buyer's general posting based on the buyer's transaction performance. 

8. 신의 성실의 원칙 

8.1 판매자/구매자/에스크로 운영자는 스팀잇 커뮤니티의 멤버로서 서로간 신의 성실의 원칙을 가지고 행동해야 한다. 

8. Principle of faithfulness 

8.1 Seller, Buyer and Escrow operator must act as a member of Steemit Community with the principle of faithfulness. 

Ⅳ. 기대효과 

1. 블록체인의 공개성 및 비가역성과 매우 간편한 에스크로 서비스의 결합으로 거래의 신뢰를 증가시킬 수 있어, 사기거래로 발생하는 피해액(한국 더치트 기준 : 월 20억)에 대한 사회적 비용 절감효과를 줍니다. 

2. 블록체인/암호화폐 라는 새로운 기술이 사회에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 사례를 만듦으로써 전체 암호화폐 시장의 가치 향상을 가져올 수 있습니다. 

Ⅳ. Expectation effect 

1. The combination of block-chain’s openness and irreversibility and very easy escrow services can increase trust of the transaction, thus reducing the social cost of damages arising from fraudulent transactions (based on Korea “The Cheat” : 2 billion KRW a month). 

2. By creating a use case where a new technology called block-chain and cryptocurrency has a positive impact on society, it can bring about an increase in the value of the entire cryptocurrency market.
