오늘 수능 보느라고 고생한 수험생들, 그리고 뒷바라지 하느라고 고생하신 부모님들~고생 많으셨습니다
아직까지도 열심히 문제를 풀고 있을 수험생들, 그리고 초조해서 인터넷 검색만 하고 있을 학부형들...
저도 작년에 수능 보는 딸이 있어서 오늘이 남일 같지가 않네요. 친구와 통화를 했습니다. 친구는 아들이 작년에 수능을 봤고 연년생인 딸이 올해 또 수능을 보고 있습니다. 국어를 잘하는데 이번에 국어 시험이 어렵게 나왔다고 걱정이 이만저만이 아니네요. 친한 동생의 큰아들도 이번에 수능을 보고 있는데 재수한다고 할까봐 벌써부터 걱정이 가득하네요.
대학만 가면 한시름 놓을줄 알았는데 대학의 무게가 크다고 저의 딸을 비롯해서 많은 대학생들이 얘기를 하더라구요.
딸애가 지금 1학년인데 걱정이 됐는지 선배들의 졸업 후 진로를 확인해 봤다고 해서 맘이 많이 아팠습니다. 2학년 까지는 여행도 좀 하고 재밌게 지내라고 했는데 그럴 여건이 되지 않는다고 합니다. 취업이 안되서 대학원을 진학 한다는 말이 많이 씁쓸합니다.
많이 힘든 상황인것은 알지만 그 동안의 노력이 모두 헛되지 않기를 바래봅니다.
수험생과 학부모님들 그 동안 고생 많으셨습니다~^^ 건강하고 밝은 앞날이 펼쳐지기를 바랍니다.

@jejujinfarm I feel for you - most Korean parents feel the same.
In Finland - no more tests but the students do much better in school and a lot happier.
TOEIC, SAT and TOEFL - this is torture to many students I do think.
It's sad to watch students only study like crazy and then after graduation - there's no security in landing a job nor owning a business.
I wish your daughter good luck and you - all the strength you are going to need for the future.
