EOSYS, Our dreams and the future roadmap

in #kr6 years ago (edited)

This text is translated into Korean, English and Chinese. It contains content that introduces us to the international audience. Thank you for understanding.

Hello,

My name is Charles Pyo of EOSYS, a founding block producer of EOS from Korea.

At the time of our application as the first EOS Block Producer Candidate in early March 2018 by EOS Go, a global EOS Community, EOSYS was one of the world’s 6 candidates to satisfy all 6 basic requirements demanded by EOS Go, including website, introduction of team members, overview plan, and infrastructure management plan.

Before EOS’s ICO began in June 2017, our team had heard about an amazing project by Dan Larimer, who had already made BitShares and Steemit, and Ian Grigg, who worked in R3, created by banks worldwide for blockchain research and development. From this time over a year ago, we started preparing our journey with EOS.

At the time, I was in the process of wrapping up a web/mobile business I had run for the last 15 years, and it was time for me to serve my country in the army which is something all men in Korea must do. Because I was running a business, I entered the army at age 31, almost 10 years later than when most men in Korea enter the army. (You can read about my thoughts at the time by clicking here and here). Right after the army, I became immersed in blockchain technology. Naturally, I focused on studying EOS, and felt that “this was it.” So, a close friend of mine who was a developer and I, created EOSscan.io.

EOSscan.io is a site that tells you EOS’s ICO’s daily price changes over the last year. With more than 10,000 people visiting the site every day, it has become a must-have service used as a reference by EOS investors worldwide. The site was named as such, in order to create a block explorer for EOS blockchain, just like Etherscan.io of Ethereum. EOSscan.io will soon change to a block explorer.

In the meantime, I built a blockchain company builder in Korea called Chain Partners. While crypto investment in Korea is on fire, there are very few blockchain startups in Korea. Therefore, we established the very first blockchain company builder in Korea in order to create a diverse ecosystem of blockchain startups. This was back in August of 2017.

Meanwhile, Chain Partners created Decenter, which has become Korea’s no. 1 crypto media platform, and Decenter University, which is a blockchain academy. It has also created CoinSight, the only blockchain video channel in alliance with Korea’s no. 1 exchange Upbit, Korea’s first crypto IB and token issuing consulting company Tokenomia, the world’s first Ethereum off-line transaction service Coinduck, and CP Research, a crypto market analysis service used by stock analysts. And in August, we will be launching DAYBIT, an ultra high-performance cryptocurrency exchange that provides the first stock industry-standard socket APIs in Korea.

As such, Chain Partners is currently building blockchains and cryptocurrency startups and services that are much needed in Korea. While Korea accounts for about 30% of the global crypto exchange market, there are not many professional blockchain businesses; thus, we were able to gather talented professionals in the field. As a result, 85 people are now working with us, and we have received 14 billion won in investment in 10 months.

As the global crypto market exploded last year in Korea, Chain Partners received a lot of attention. Since then, my days have been filled with meetings, interviews, conferences, meetups, and lectures. Since our original intent has been EOSscan.io since the beginning, we shared the advantages and possibilities of EOS at every press interview and meeting in the Korean market. At this time, EOS was still not so familiar to many.

Chain Partners has met at least 50 large companies in Korea over the past year, recommending blockchain development on EOS rather than Ethereum, as Ethereum may be a terrific platform but is still too slow to be used by companies.

We anticipated that EOS would be the only blockchain that companies could develop DApps on in terms of speed. Also, Chain Partners’ choosing EOS became the decisive factor in EOS attracting a lot of attention in Korea. We worked hard in explaining how Dan Larimer’s vision of what EOS can become.

The BP election was announced in the industry for the first time when we became the first Korean candidate on March 1st. It was said that, in terms of the EOS exchange volume, there should be more Korean candidates. Since then, many candidates from Korea including EOSeoul, EOS NodeOne, EOSPay, EOSSey, KEOS and AcroEOS applied and have contributed to helping the EOS ecosystem.

Chain Partners first bought an EOS token at an average buying price of 11,400 won in February 2018 through a Korean exchange, Bithumb. We created EOSscan.io, but we never bought a single token. Most people in this market buy tokens for cheap, then sell it at an expensive price, and say that it’s a good protocol. We have never done such a thing.

I was personally very busy building a company, so I got involved for the first time in EOS ICO when it was over $10. We felt a greater sense of mission to create services, rather than invest. We fell into EOS because we believed in the philosophy and wanted to share what we truly believed in with large companies rather than increase the token price. We still have not sold a single EOS token, nor have we made a profit from it.

What is the philosophy of EOS? The following is Dan Larimer’s philosophy which we believed in since the beginning:

Philosophy 1. DApps should be free for users

On Ethereum, to utilize a decentralized application (DApp), users pay a fee called ‘Gas’. However, people using the internet have never paid money to simply visit websites and most mobile apps are also free.

But on Ethereum, users have to pay to use an app. Can apps really be active in such an environment? EOS can be used free of charge by DApp developers similar to the Internet and mobile. Which is more user-friendly? As someone who has been making web and mobile apps for a long time, I would definitely say that it’s EOS.

What are the advantages of DApp users not paying fees? They would utilize DApps much more frequently. What if they had to pay a fee each time? They would be reluctant to use it. The blockchain platform must encourage DApp development and usage.

(Of course, the disadvantage of EOS is that developers cannot make DApps if they don’t have money. POLARIS is an EOS-based enterprise chain that Chain Partners is preparing to overcome such disadvantages).

Philosophy 2. Speed and performance

Blockchains are simple. Transaction speeds increase with the smaller number of nodes. The time it takes to divide the same transaction into 20 people is certainly faster than the time it takes to divide it by 200,000. However, if it’s divided by 20 people, the concern would be that it’s “centralized.” This is the typical reason for conflict between Ethereum and EOS.

Latecomers must have a distinctly different value proposition from the people who came first. If EOS was too similar to Ethereum, it would be better not to create a competing platform. EOS chose speed over decentralization. If the transaction history is synched by 21 people, the transaction is considered correct.

Compared to Ethereum, that needs to synchronize with tens to hundreds of thousands of nodes, it is faster in all respects, including the speed of building blocks, speed of synchronization, and speed of agreement for protocol improvement. In just two days, 21 people from all around the world can fly and meet in one place to make decisions right away. How about 20,000? It’s difficult to get even 200 people to come together in one place.

And as already mentioned before, Ethereum is already centralized. 85% of the hash power (considered mining capacity) is already monopolized by five mining pools. In a sense, 5 rather than 21 is even more centralized. That is the grounds for critique from both sides, but it’s just due to a different philosophy. There is no right or wrong answer.

I don’t hate Ethereum. At Chain Partners, there is even a team that researches Ethereum, and the actual project takes place more on an Ethereum basis. But EOS offers other possibilities that Ethereum has never been able to offer.

Ethereum is also trying to improve speed through the “Scalability 3,” that includes Sharding, Plasma, and Raiden Network. In addition, what is also emerging is a hybrid type that completes transactions through verification of about 20 representatives and records results on the Ethereum chain.

Philosophy 3. Android in the world of blockchains

Finally, the biggest distinction for EOS is that it directs itself as the android of the blockchain world. In the past, when PC standards were different, IBM was able to monopolize the PC market by releasing the PC standard to all manufacturers for free. Google’s Android in the mobile world applied the same strategy, and even though it came a long time after iPhone, it dominates the global mobile OS market.

EOS also plans to use this strategy to become the Android of the blockchain world. It “recommends” anybody to take their software, fix it on their own, and make their own chain. This is how Bitcoin Cash (BCH) diverged from Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum Classic (ETC) diverged from Ethereum (ETH). In fact, the current Ethereum Classic is the previous Ethereum chain, when Ethereum returned lost Ether resulting from a hack. This is different from “Forking,” an industry term for such a case. Bitcoin and Ethereum never recommend “forking,” but EOS does.

Thus, in time, we will start to see EOS Gold, Diamond, Sapphire and more, because that’s what Dan Larimer intended. What would happen after two or three years? Countless chains in the market will be based on EOS.

From the onset, EOS was referred to as Inter-blockchain Communication, which is a very difficult term. Simply put, it’s like how an app can be both a Samsung Galaxy app and an LG Optimus app because they’re all android-based.

Therefore, apps in EOS, whether it’s EOS Gold or EOS Sapphire, are all compatible because they’re all EOS-based. If there are hundreds of EOS-based chains, each of those chains would compete to create their own apps and persuade their own developers. And the apps created through each of these specific chains would be compatible with all other EOS-based chains. While Ethereum is on its own, EOS will expand its app universe with hundreds of chains.

One EOS, Countless Names

The EOS-based chains will not even use the term EOS. The name of the EOS-based enterprise chain we are preparing is called POLARIS. The name of the EOS-based social media chain in China is ONO, and regardless of its name, the chain Bitcoin Latina is EOS-based.

As such, EOS may become the de facto standard of the blockchain ecosystem. While it may not be necessary for DApp developers to create DApps only for EOS, they will have to create at least one that is EOS-based just as mobile developers always create iOS and Android-based apps. This is a certainty.

Who has been promoting EOS?

We have been evangelizing EOS since the beginning, meeting countless companies, media outlets, securities companies, and investors who are considering blockchain in Korea. Although training and teaching others about EOS has always been our mission, we would like to expand EOS even further now that we are one of the 21 to operate the EOS blockchain.

The price of EOS tokens has risen two to three times at the time of listing on Korean exchanges BITHUMB and UPBIT. When EOS becomes famous in Korea, the global EOS community benefits. In Korea, EOSYS has stood at the forefront, putting EOS in the international spotlight.

Who can maximize the benefits of EOS token holders around the world? Naturally, it would be the representatives who can explain all this well, persuading companies to create EOS-based chains and DApps.

We will continue this path no matter what

We have been doing this since the beginning. Whether or not we were elected, we would continue to expand the knowledge of EOS in the future. Already, Chain Partners and EOSYS have fully committed to this in terms of conviction and manpower. No other Korean companies, whether they are blockchain or non-blockchain, have devoted everything to EOS as much as Chain Partners and EOSYS.

Envisioning an age of popularization of blockchain

EOSYS is not a candidate running simply for token profits, nor is it a server operator for just creating blocks. EOSYS aims to be the “Consensys for EOS blockchains.” The startup Consensys appeared at a time when Ethereum was practically nothing, sharing what was important about Ethereum and growing together. Now, there are more than 1,000 people working at Consensys.

EOSYS hopes to support the global community in expanding EOS blockchains, and desires to be a DApp studio for the EOS blockchain ecosystem and a responsible global accelerator.

We are already teaming up to build the EOS ecosystem, making DApps, and investing in EOS-related startups. We’re a company that has been preparing for the birth of EOS, investing first in the EOS ecosystem, rather than EOS tokens, without any support from Block.one.

In order to keep the EOS ecosystem clean and fair, we will continue to work on projects for the development of the EOS ecosystem in partnership with block producers that have similar ideas around the world.

We have reflected on what we have been preparing since we began to run for BP election in March last year. This is just the beginning. As one of the 21 representatives of EOS, we will definitely contribute to the global EOS community.

Just as we have devoted ourselves to publicize EOS in Korea, we will bring EOS to real-world applications and industries.

Past accomplishments of EOSYS and its future endeavors

EOSYS News clippings

Since launching EOS in March of last year, the EOSYS team has been monitoring trends in the global community 24/7, publishing a weekly report and reporting it to the Korean community. To do this, the person in charge at the company practically lived in the office.

Please refer to the report below to see our devotion and hard work. How many candidates would have been so devoted to their task that they would have practically lived in the office, monitoring 24 hours a day?

EOSYS News Clipping

EOSPortal.io Voting Portal Development Support

EOSPortal is a BP voting portal created voluntarily by EOS BP candidates around the world. Only the BP voting function was offered at first, but soon a lot of other features will be added in the future including token leasing to DApps and voting for a working proposal.

EOSYS unconditionally sponsored $10,000 USD to EOSPortal, which is equivalent to 40% of the total EOSPortal development fee of $25,000 USD. There are not many candidates who would sponsor such development costs without a proposal, driven only by the sense of necessity. EOSYS did so, because it’s fully committed to EOS. As a result, with the outstanding efforts made by the EOS wallet and BP candidates such as Scatter, EOS sw/eden, EOS Vikings, and EOS NY, a voting portal was constructed and translated into 7 languages.

At the bottom of this article, there are instructions on voting based on EOSPortal.

Most Korean voters probably have EOS tokens on exchanges such as Bithumb or Upbit. If you withdraw EOS tokens, after 2 to 4 weeks, we will show you how to participate in the vote.

I also know that many of the supporters of EOSYS in Korea are elderly. For them, we plan to provide voting-related phone call services as well as providing voting services for people over 50 years of age with more than 5,000 EOS tokens. (We will call them if they email us at [email protected] and tell us how many EOS tokens they have, where they have them, and whether they want phone or visiting voting service).

Partnership with EOS Gravity, the biggest EOS community in China

EOS Gravity, the largest EOS community with more than 100,000 members in China, announced its partnership with EOSYS, the leading organization in Korea to raise the EOS ecosystem, in the Korea-China EOS Community Collaboration on June 5, 2018.

Through this, EOSYS and EOS Gravity will open a joint EOS meetup between Korea and China to expand mutual exchange and collaborate on a variety of projects including developer exchange and joint investments through mutual hackathons.

This cooperation is only the beginning. EOSYS plans to cooperate with BPs around the world such as USA, Europe, Australia and Asia to develop a unified EOS community. EOSYS truly values cooperation with all global BPs. We will always be a strong bridge for global BPs when they wish to exchange with Korea, a country which accounts for more than 30% of global EOS token volume.

Official translation support for EOS Go Content

EOSYS will translate the main content of EOS Go, the global EOS community, into Korean.

Any overseas EOS communities interested in content translation can contact us at [email protected]. EOSYS will continue to serve as a bridge between Korea and the global community.

Formal Support of EOS developers meetup, Seoul

EOSYS officially sponsored the second EOS Developer Meetup in Seoul on May 30, 2018.

The PLACTAL team, creating an EOS-based DApp, presented at this meetup.

Eric Song, the CTO, presented “EOS DB API & chainbase,” and Yoon Jae-jin, the Lead Software Engineer of EOSeoul presented under the subject “RAM Liquidity Providing Algorithm, Bancor Protocol.”

In the future, EOSYS will continue to organize and sponsor a variety of programs such as meetups, hackathons, and competitions with developers who will continue to lead the EOS ecosystem expansion.

A three-month worldwide tour

EOSYS participated in numerous events around the world related to EOS for three months after running for BP. We traveled from Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong, to Singapore, LA and San Francisco, to meet members of various EOS communities. There were not many candidates who travelled as much as we did.

EOSYS started the global tour by meeting Korean college students studying the blockchain.

On March 23, 2018, Charles Pyo, the CEO of EOSYS, visited the YBL in Yonsei University, the largest university blockchain society in Korea, and gave a presentation on the overall blockchain industry and the EOS blockchain. Even though it was held late at night, the lecture hall was filled with students.

On April 3, 2018, EOSYS invited crypto-industry professionals from all over the world who were visiting Korea for the Deconomy 2018 event. They met in Gangnam, Seoul, and held a Crypto Night event, where they shared their vision of EOSYS.

On April 13, 2018, EOSYS participated in the world’s largest EOS seminar held in Hong Kong. The picture below shows the Hong Kong meetup host and the EOSYS team.

Then the EOSYS team went to China. This picture is of the team, presenting at the EOS Cannon Meetup held in Chengdu, China, on May 5, 2018.

The following week on May 12th, EOSYS went to Beijing to participate in the EOS Meetup held by Huobipool. As a non-Chinese team, we received quite the spotlight for giving a presentation in fluent Chinese.

For your reference, EOSYS values its cooperation with the Chinese EOS community, and will soon open an office in Beijing. Hopefully we will be able to further a more vigorous interaction with China in the future.

The next week, on May 19th, EOSYS headed to Shanghai, China again, where we participated in an event held by EOS Gravity, the biggest EOS community in China.

More than 60 BP candidates from all over the world participated in this meetup, and 2 of the most prepared candidates among the 30 or so BP candidates from abroad were given the opportunity to give a presentation. EOSYS was given this opportunity and gave an attention-grabbing presentation in fluent Chinese that shocked the audience.

On June 8, 2018, EOSYS team members joined Global EOS Hackathon in Hong Kong. Below is a group photo of the participants in the dining room with the Block.one team.

On the same day, another EOSYS team was on the other side of the globe, attending the blockchain event Tulip Conference 2018 held in San Francisco. The team dealt with EOS as an independent subject for the first time in North America.

Key BP candidates from North America attended a concurrent event called EOS BP Summit, where EOSYS was the only invited panel from Korea.

EOSYS Seoul Meetup

On May 19, 2018, EOSYS hosted Korea’s largest meetup in Seoul, Korea.

Kevin S Wilcox, head of the global EOS community EOS Go, and Lee Sang-sun, CEO of Korea EOS community KOREOS attended this event as keynote speakers. In particular, they are two of the only three community mediators of the EOS launch process in the world.

Kevin Wilcox received a lot of attention for his presentation on the EOS Platform, and Lee Sang-sun for his presentation of the launching process along with a detailed chart.

Other presenters at the EOSYS Seoul Meetup included 9 BP candidates including (in the order of presentation): EOSPhere (presenter: Shannon Curtis), EOS Asia (presenter: John Yoon), Blockgenic (presenter: Celu Ramasamy), EOSeoul (presenter: Sungmin Ma), EOSREAL (presenter: Ambreen Adnan Gilani), EOSCannon (presenter: Larry Ma), EQS42 (presenter: Sean Kang), EOSPAY (presenter: Lee Dong-san), eosONO (presenter: Xu Ke). Also, 7 BP candidates including Block.one’s Thomas Cox sent in video messages. It truly was a global meetup.

We also hosted the EOS DApp Challenge event, introducing for the first time in the world the 7 EOS DApp projects. 7 promising projects were introduced to the community for the first time, including the EOS-based game rewards platform Plactal (presenter: Jessica Lynn), EOS-based product review service LITER (presenter: David Kim), EOS-based language translation service Langchain (presenter: Yoon Young-sun), EOS-based decentralized exchange EOSDAQ (presenter: Kim Seong-bae), EOS-based bio information market place Astera (presenter: Jeong Jae-ho), OWDIN Network, an enhanced security service for EOS BP (presenter: Nam Hyun-woo), and BHOM Lab, a real estate marketplace based on EOS (Presenter: Lee Chang-seop).

The reason that so many EOS-based DApps are being created in Korea, and that only EOSYS can introduce such projects is because EOSYS and Chain Partners have been at the forefront of introducing the advantages of EOS to the Korean market.

The future plans of EOSYS

The highlight of this event was the presentation of the future plans of EOSYS. In the keynote broadcast live to the whole world in English and Korean through EOS Go and CONAM YouTube channel, EOSYS announced 10 new points.

1.EOS DApp specific accelerator launch

EOSYS announced that we will launch the EOSYS Accelerator to foster EOS DApps and create 100 EOS-based DApps in the next 2 years.

For this, we also announced a collaboration with DSC Investments, a KOSDAQ listed investor and a famous Korean venture capital firm who invested in Yellow Mobile and Daily Financial Group early on.

On this day, EOSYS released a 48-page “EOS Blockchain Intensive Report”, produced with DSC Investment, for free to anyone interested in learning more about EOS. (Link to download the Korean version)

2.EOSYS Fund Launch

EOSYS also announced that it will invest 30 billion won in the EOS DApp ecosystem in the next 3 years, regardless of being elected as a BP. The fund will re-invest most of the token revenue in the BP election into the DApp ecosystem, and if it does not win, it will create a separate fund and participate intensively in the activation of the EOS ecosystem.
3. NOVA: Exclusive EOS wallet

Third, EOSYS announced that it is preparing NOVA, an exclusive EOS token wallet. This wallet will be launched simultaneously in chrome extension and mobile versions.

In particular, the mobile version is developed in strict compliance with the latest Android UI Guideline announced by Google and is expected to have an elegant design that’s different from other existing apps.

4. EOS-based DEX — EOSDAQ
In addition, EOSYS announced that EOSDAQ, a decentralized EOS-based exchange, will be released in early September. This exchange will trade EOS-based tokens based on EOS’s fast performance.

5. EOS-based decentralized ICO participating platform — Tokenext
To expand the EOS ecosystem, more EOS-based tokens must be issued. This would inevitably lead to increased EOS-based ICOs. Taking note of this, EOSYS is preparing Tokenext, an EOS-based decentralized ICO participating platform, that is to open at the end of August, 2018.

6. Developing Global EOS educational materials for beginners — EEG launch

Because EOSYS believes that the development of educational materials for EOS beginners is essential for the growth of the EOS ecosystem, we created a group called EOS Evangelist Group, abbreviated EEG.

This group, which already has 75 people working through Telegram, uploads various articles on EOS on the blog, from texts translated into Korean for beginners and even content for specialists.

The first proposal suggested by EOSYS, the EEG textbooks will be made available in English, Korean, and Chinese, making it freely available to many EOS communities.

The following is an article by EEG titled ‘A Cryptoverse Hitch Hiker’s Guide to EOS’. Very simply written, this text is widely spread throughout the community, and people who have read this article have volunteered to contribute their talents to create a webtoon version.

EEG activities are widely applied as introductory materials that show how EOS is different from other blockchains and its advantages.

7. Enhanced partnership with Penta Security, a world-leading security company

EOSYS announced its immediate security partnership with Penta Security, named top security company in Asia-Pacific for 2016 by Frost & Sullivan.

During the announcement, Kim Eui-seok, the CTO of Penta Security made a surprise appearance and introduced the company to the EOS community.

As EOSYS and Chain Partners, we are able to work with the best companies in each industry. If EOSYS becomes a BP, we would have the capacity to engage larger Korean companies in the EOS ecosystem.

8. DAYBIT exchange EOS pair trading scheduled to open

On that day, the keynote also announced for the first time that Chain Partners plans to support EOS pair trading on DAYBIT, a cryptocurrency exchange to open in August.

It was also announced that the DAYBIT exchange will become the official EOS-friendly exchange, including the airdrop of EOS-based tokens, the first listing of EOS-based tokens, in addition to BP voting functions as well as a token lease function.

8. COINDUCK, supporting EOS offline transaction

COINDUCK, the Ethereum offline transaction service created by Chain Partners will support EOS offline store transactions for the first time in the world starting August 2018.

COINDUCK is the largest crypto payment service with more than 400 merchants in Korea alone. It was featured in Forbes magazine, providing service in the PyeongChang Olympic Games.

In cooperation with Kyber Network, an Ethereum-based DEX, the Ethereum-based ERC-20 tokens will be available for payments at offline merchants.

9. POLARIS

Just when everyone thought the announcements were over, one more announcement was made regarding an EOS-based enterprise blockchain called POLARIS, created together by Chain Partners and EOSYS.

POLARIS is an EOS-edition of EEA (Ethereum Enterprise Alliance). The EOS platform needs to buy and stake more than a certain quantity of EOS tokens in the market for DApp development. However, there is an entry barrier problem here.

Therefore, Polaris, made on the basis of EOS.IO software, has allocated 20% of the entire tokens to the Corporate Partnership Program. This token is offered to companies that want to develop DApps at a low cost or for free for a period of time, allowing companies to test DApps in the market relatively easily.

Starting with the participation of Korean companies, we wish to contribute to participating in the EOS ecosystem. Demonstrating how actual companies are creating DApps on POLARIS after opening the mainnet without an ICO, we will gradually distribute tokens and turn it into a model example in the industry.

10. Special Announcement — EOS Tower

Lastly, a notice was given that a special announcement would be made this day. Many people were very curious about this surprise announcement. After the EOSYS keynote, a surprise appearance was made by Hunwook Kim, the managing director of Planning Korea, an urban architecture company that has nothing to do with EOS.

During his presentation, Kim expressed his plan to build the EOS TOWER in Seoul like New York’s UN headquarters where BPs gather from around the world. Planning Korea, who designed this building, has carried out various construction projects including Boutique Monaco near Gangnam Station.

Planning Korea designed the building with a co-working space on the lower floors, offices for blockchain businesses and BPs around the world on the middle floors, and a networking space on the top floor.

It was designed to allow panoramic views and open air with a garden on the rooftop to allow for interaction between residents.

Another surprise announcement about the EOS Tower was the EOS Super Node Hall.

In the EOSYS election, we designed a super node that actually creates a block of EOS blockchain in the basement so that anyone can see how the block is created.

The real-time block creation can be viewed through the monitor in front of the server and the server is placed in a glass room that is open to the public. In addition, the basement is turned into a meetup space so that blockchain meetups can be held in the backdrop of the Super Node Hall.

The areas on the ground floor and basement were designed so that the Super Node Hall is visible while enjoying food and beverages. This gives the whole building a feeling of being in a blockchain theme park. As a result, the EOS Tower has been designed to serve as a sanctuary that must be visited by both blockchain advocates in Korea and around the world.

Centered on the underground EOS Super Node Hall, which serves as the heart of the building, the ground floor is designed to attract DApp developers, exchanges, and blockchain technology companies to serve as the headquarters of the blockchain industry.

Based on BP election and the feasibility of screening for the project, this building, proposed to be built in Gangnam or Seocho, Seoul, is to follow a schedule that does not obstruct the main work.

Less than 10% of total BP profits will be used towards the EOS Tower project. All token usage details will be disclosed transparently every fiscal year through an accounting firm.

If Block.one does not allow EOS to be the name of the building, it will be called EOSYS Tower or another name will be reviewed.

EOSYS Radar

The EOSYS team has been praised for providing the entire process of EOS Mainnet in Korean, English and Chinese translations since the first week of June in order to deliver content in a faster and more efficient manner.

You can also receive updates on EOS news by subscribing to EOSYS Radar on Telegram.

There will be no vote transactions for the election

On March 1st, 2018, when we were entering the BP election, we made the announcement that we will clearly disclose the expenditure of all tokens earned in the BP election through an accounting company inspection.

We clarified that we object to compensating those who vote for us because it would decrease the hardware or resources that the BP must reinvest into the ecosystem, and thus violates EOS competitiveness. This text was even Upvoted by Dan Larimer the creator of EOS.

This stance has remained unchanged. Furthermore, we promise to disclose in a transparent manner, even a single token used that was earned through BP profits, including stock holdings and fluctuations of EOSYS corporation.

There has been a steady stream of corrupt trading of votes around the world in the last three months of the election. We would like to confirm our promise once more through this text.

We will not provide any formal or informal compensation for voting to any voters during this election and future EOS elections. And even if we fail in the election, we will humbly accept it.

EOSYS will never make deals for votes anywhere in the world. We will always be proud members of a healthy EOS ecosystem. Thank you.

How to vote

Please refer to the voting method below to help us work our fullest.
