안녕하세요! 오늘은 소듐벤조에이트에 대하여 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
소듐벤조에이트는 화장품의 방부제로 사용되고 있는 성분인데요.
파라벤이나 페녹시에탄올을 대신하여 사용하고 있는 화학방부제 성분입니다.
소듐벤조에이트는 물에 잘 녹고 방부효과도 뛰어나 화장품 외에도 의약품, 음료수 등에 식품첨가물로도 사용된다고 합니다.
소듐벤조에이트는 프랑스 유기농인증기관 에코서트에서 안전성을 인정 받았고, 미국 FDA에서 음식에도 사용할 수 있도록 인정했다고 합니다.
그러니 다른 종류의 보존제들보다 훨씬 안심하고 사용할 수 있겠죠?
