The National Flower of Korean: The Mugunghwa.
Korean National Flower: The Mugunghwa
The name Mugunghwa is the Korean name for the Korean National flower. A member of the Hibiscus family well known for its beauty, toughness and perseverance. The scientific name for this flower is Hibiscus Syriacus. It is also known as the Rose of Sharon. The flower can be red, white, pink or purple with a bright red center. The flower is seen from July to October. It is said that 2,000 to 3,000 flowers can come from one tree. The tree is said to be easy to graft and can thrive despite environmental pollution. The country of Korean has a long history of invasions and occupations but always manages to survive as a nation. Therefore it is not a surprise that the people adopted this flower as a symbol of perseverance and loyalty.

Woff, woff!
Hello @lalai, We have met 3 times already!
I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.
KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!
Tips:
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!
Woff, woff! 🐶
This is cute but very symbolic. I usually think of stuff like National flowers and National birds as being a waste of time, but these flowers are symbols of the Korean spirit for toughness, self determination and loyalty. Plus anyone who watches Korea Drama like I do also knows the Koreans love beauty and there are many beautiful things on display in those dramas.
Hi
Thank you for reading my blog and leaving a thoughtful, positive comments.
I love Korean Dramas or K-dramas as my friends and I call them. The woman and men are usually beautiful, they are beautifully dressed and usually the locations are in beautiful parts of Korea.
Wow! This is a pretty flower, but NOW I know what it stands for and the symbolic way it represents the spirit of Koreans, which is very beautiful.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, I am glad you liked the post.

Wow! This is a pretty flower. This story about the spirit of Koreans is very nice also.
I really like how this article symbolizes the power of positive discourse on Steemit.
This is great and it would be terrific if @ned could see how this post makes Steemit shine. Did you know that the CEO of Steemit, who goes by @ned was recently in Korea?
Did you know that @ned did a series of presentations in Korea about Steemit, the block chain and Cryptocurrency? Did you know that @ned also talked about smart tokens while in Korea? Plus @ned was interviewed on Bloomberg Business New on live television after he returned from his Korea trip. Did you know that Steemit recently reached 1,000,000 followers?!
Good things are ahead for Steemit and our CEO @ned is traveling and promoting us!
