India developing bulk drugs/API to CUT CHINA dependence

Indian government is working on frame work to produce bulk medicine in india itself so as to reduce the china import of rawmaterial . over dependence on china for medicine rawmaterial is point of concern for government .

India export to almost every part of the developed world US, EU, JAPAN .

About 75% of (APIs)that are listed in country essential medicine  are imported from china .

Of all the imported rawmaterial for medicine 66 % source from china .Some government agencies from  fertilizers,chemical with private players joining hand to work out for possible solution to curtailed dependence on china . Initiative of government will go on a long run to help ,boost local industries .

Also studies say that often chinise final product are costlier , which end up paying high price by customer .

Government official's say that country had required potential  ,capibality is present to meet up the challenge  .
