Fear Of Colour (FOC)
That means “Fear Of Color” for Americans. Now I’m not talking about a fear of black people here. I’m talking about a fear of colours.
This is a fear that drives everyone to drive silver cars, dress in black clothes, and avoid anything that has any colour.
I have heard that Wellington New Zealand is the worst city in the world for being a bunch of FOCERS
Not being well traveled I don’t know if that is true, but I suspect it is. Sometimes I walk down the street playing spot the car that isn’t silver.
And once when I was waiting at a bus stop beside a busy street it took over 20 minutes before I saw a person that wasn’t wearing at least one item in black (and yes that was an American tourist in an orange jumpsuit)
It's no wonder all Kiwis have a weird obsession with the ALL BLACKS...
