Giving Tuesday KIVA donation appeal
You may have seen, read and perhaps supported my previous posts promoting KIVA and reporting on the loans I have made, supported by my Steemit rewards. The most recent post New STEEM Powered KIVA loan - Bakery Tanzania can still be upvoted.
I received an email from KIVA today. This coming week the 28th November is Giving Tuesday and KIVA are running a donation drive to help fund their operations.
Why does Kiva need donations? 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans, so Kiva relies on donations to keep operating, growing and reaching the most remote and impoverished communities.
This week, join the worldwide movement of compassionate people creating change!
I will be making a $50 donation and will allocate the bonus US$25 loan to Team Steem, plus the equivalent of all rewards from this post will be added to my KIVA lending pool to make another loan once it hits US$25.
