Something small can spread happiness and goodwill
Good morning my friends. This post is about paying it forward and how something small can really spread happiness and goodwill.
My husband phones this morning to tell me he forgot to pop the top down on his coffee mug and it spills all over in his work case.
He decides to go to the coffee drive through window to get a drink replacement. While waiting in line he gets out of his van and empties out the spill.
Once he gets up to the window he finds out his drink was paid for by the car in front of him. This is when he decides to pay it forward by buying the next car's drink.
No telling how many more cars paid it forward. And from each of those people word spread about kindness and goodwill from a small kind act.
I could hear his happiness from this small act. Sometimes it is the small things we can do that spread happiness the quickest.

I absolutely love the pay it forward concept! It warms my heart to hear these stories and yes! I have been the recipient and giver of them.
While it feels so amazing to get one, and always takes me by surprise, do it yourself and I guarantee you almost get more pleasure out of giving than getting.
If that is possible.
Thanks for the feel-good post today! Meah!!

I did this once at my local convenience store. The person tracked me down in the parking lot and asked if they could bum a cigarette. I said I don't smoke and then they walked away. I am thinking they did NOT pay it forward. I questioned my intentions and then still felt good enough to try it again at a toll booth. At least there I am in my car and can floor it so they don't catch up to me to ask for smokes. lol
That is crazy. Some people are better at not only receiving but taking.
A toll booth is a good place lol.
Aww, very kind of him to pass it along! I've had a friend who has been a part of a kindness train like this multiple times. It really is such a simple act, but can totally change the tone of your day!
hey thanks for the lovely comment.. I will tell Mike.

Hey, @rebeccabe.
I've heard of this happening to people. I've thought about doing it, too, just to see how it would work, but I haven't yet.
It's amazing how paying it forward can have a chain reaction, where the next several customers in line do exactly the same. All it takes is one person to get the ball rolling.
Eventually, though, I imagine someone takes the generosity and walks away with it, perhaps grateful but unable to continue.
