My favorite movie ever! (I am now finally reading the book too, awesome piece of work.) If I could choose the most beautiful place in the universe, it would be Rivendell. Come to think of it, is there a way I could purchase this photo for print? I would really like it somewhere in my house! It's out-of-this-world beautiful.
My favourite movies too, but long before that they were (and still are) my favourite books, and J.R.R. Tolkien my favourite author! I envy you reading them for the first time. I think Rivendell is one of the most beautiful places in Middle-Earth. In it still dwell memories of lost Gondolin and of Valinor across the Sea. :)
I would love to discuss prints with you! Since there's no messaging service here, would you mind emailing me, [email protected] and we can talk about the size and type of print that you would like?
Okay, gave the book a two-days break, time to pick it up again! I'll message you, thanks for the email. I also found your website online and I hope you do have a published book, because you'll find many people interested, myself included. For the record, I don't buy photography and don't own any photography book. Your talent really stands out.
Was about to comment the same thing! Composition is well balanced, although I feel the vignette calls a bit too much attention to itself - I find myself looking more often to the dark side edges than to the rest of the image. I like it's mood, however. It does trigger the imagination :)
Thanks! And that's fair - my monitor has changed since I edited this so I notice how the darks are getting clipped. I love vignettes but it's easy to push it too far and not know it. :\
Yes! I had the same thought. :)

Thank you again, I appreciate your interest and have responded!
No pressure regarding LotR, the book, like all books, is not for everyone, but it definitely transformed my life when I was young.
I do not have a published book. That will be in the future, but this Canada Trip may be a good starting place to create one... :)
