Killer Pix Photography Contest #44: Boneyard Beach Bark
Located near Jacksonville, FL within Big Talbot Island State Park you'll find the visually stunning Boneyard Beach. After making your way down the mile or so path from the parking lot and battling the biting insects, the canopy opens up revealing a stretch of sand home to several saltwater washed skeletons of trees that once were.
The textures and mesmerizing mixture of life and death along the sandy shores made this an awesome park to explore. It's definitely a place I will be visiting again since I was limited with the time I was able to spend there!

Looks as if you have quite the driftwood selection down there. The texture ni that last photo is fascinating. It looks very porous. Nice shots!
thanks bud, there are a few different parks around in Florida that are home to vast amounts of driftwood but this is probably the most well-known location. heck it's even named for it...Boneyard Beach!
