Haven't you notices sometimes that most probably children leave in their own dimension with time flowing quite differently than adults life? Guess so... A lot of energy and running too fast and so on :)
So here is attempt to compensate the difference and try to catch the moment from their life. My son running like crazy at his birthday party at a playground - a bit of longer exposure with tracking of the main person in frame

I think almost all of children do like your son did,they have own way to revealed their happiness,and that is a best moment that we can capture.
