Killerpix Contest Entry - SPHERE
Northern Lights dancing in a glass sphere.
A shot taken during a trip in Norway (almost 4 years ago). I've taken this shot during a winter trip in Norway, after a week spent waiting for the weather to get better and for the Northern Lights to show up. On the last day, when we had almost lost any hope, the clouds swirled away and we had six full hours under a green glow brightening the night.
This is one of my favorite shot of that night, because after a lot of awesome pictures of green lights dancing in the sky the Aurora Borealis turned a bit toward purple just in time for this shot.

What is the sphere, anyway? Is it one you brought with you or something you found?
It's just a glass sphere, about 5-6cm large and I take it with me for this trip. This is an old shot, but I've seen someone else here on steemit using it (also here).
To give you an idea it's almost identical to this one on amazon.
