Suspect in Khashoggi Death Silenced in Suspicious Car Accident?

in #khashoggi6 years ago (edited)

Meshal Saad M. Albostani is a lieutenant of the Saudi Royal Air Forces. He was one of 15 Saudis that were allegedly sent as a "hit squad" to Saudi Arabia's consulate in Turkey during Khashoggi's visit.

Albostani arrive in Turkey on October 2 at 1:45am loocal time, staying at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. And left later that day on a private jet at 9:47pm. Missing Jamaal Khashoggi, a critic of the Saudi government and columnist for the Washington Post, entered the Saudi consulate on October 2 as well, but was never seen leaving, or since. Two planes carried Albostani and 14 others, along with Saudi officials, all of whom visited the consulate while Khashoggi was inside. Were they part of a group of expert interrogators that were flown in and quickly left after Khashoggi's unfortunate demise?

Albostani's car accident is prompting accusations of a taking him out to cover up the Khashoggi case. Turkey's Daily Hürriyet wrote today (Thursday) that Saudi Arabia's Istanbul consul-general would be the next to be executed:

Turkish daily Yeni Şafak reported Oct. 17 that Al-Otaibi’s voice could be heard in one of the recordings, which Turkish authorities are believed to have, of Khashoggi’s “interrogation” at the consulate.

According to the report, after Al-Otaibi told the interrogators to “do it somewhere else outside or I will be in trouble,” he was told to “shut up if you want to live when you are back in Saudi Arabia.”

Al-Otaibi returned to Saudi Arabia on Oct. 16 before his residence in Istanbul was searched by police for more than eight hours on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18.

A Twitter user claims to have warned that the hit team woul dbe killed off:

In the Name of Allah, I posted about 2 days ago that members of that hit team would soon be killed. --They need to go to the Turkish consulate, local news media INTERPOL for safety (Then tell the truth about Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman plot)

Another suspect in Khashoggi's death is 47-year-old intelligence officer Maher Abdulaziz M. Mutreb, who landed at 3:38am on October 2, at entered the consulate at 9:55am, back to his hotel at 5:15pm and on a private jet at 5:58pm the same day. Mutreb was also an extensive traveler with the crown prince, maybe as a bodyguard.

It seems like Khashoggi was murdered, as a crew of cleaners with mops and boxes of cleaners and trash bags entered the consulate after Saudi authorities gave Turkish investigators the o.k. to enter the consulate to investigate the disappearance of Khashoggi. Was this all to make sure all traces of evidence were scrubbed?

Reports from the Middle East Eye and Wall Street Journal claim Khashoggi took 7 minutes to die. The presence of a well known autopsy expert identified by the Times as Dr. Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy suggest that the killing was premeditated. A source claims Khashoggi was being cut into while unconscious from an unknown substance. The New York Times claim that his fingers were cut off before he was butchered to death.

Will we ever know what happened to Khashoggi? Is he really the fighter of freedom and advocate of democracy for the Arab world, as the Washington Post claims? Maybe he is after he had a change of heart over the years of serving the Saudi royalty, and had a falling out with the ruling regime. The Western media sure does seem to be putting the Saudi's to the grindstone about this though, which is good for a change.

Saudi Media is now reporting that Khashoggi "Died in a fight" at the embassy.

Really, that's the story now.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-45923217

Is that a cover story, or is that what really happened? Why not admit that long ago? Hmm...

Yeah I think they're trying to float this as the official Saudi explanation for his death... doesn't sound credible at all.

I wonder if this stuff happens all the time, but we only hear about the cases that get media attention. A lot of evil people in the world where killing is just a part of a days work...

Yup, true that. Lots of shit happens and we only hear about a fraction of it when the media talks about it.

Crazy shit going on out there....people need to keep their eyes peeled

Yup, it's a mad world :/

Total coincidence I suppose :P

Yup, the cleaning gear before the investigation, the bringing and leaving of Saudis at the same time... nothing to see here :/

How do you have a suspect without a dead body? To me this is pure speculation, and guilt by presumption, the easiest way to make Saudi Arabia "guilty" with zero proof is with stories like this one.
More a smear aticle and innuendo by the MSM presstitutes than "proof".

It's highly speculative indeed. The circumstances and behavior is what creates the suspect. There might not be a body to investigate upon, but there is a death finally admitted, as @v4vapid has linked to https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-45923217, "died in a fight"... they are admitting a cover story or truth?

I have been reading for 3 days, that they were going to admit he died in a interrogation gone wrong. All very dubious indeed.

US President Donald Trump said what had happened was "unacceptable" but added that Saudi Arabia was a "great ally".

Well there we go then, case closed, you could not make this up if you tried.
