Yes! I have been to Kathmandu and the traffic is terrific, bus ride from Pokhara (another city in Nepal) took me 11 hours instead of 6 hours as scheduled!

However I would definitely recommend visiting Pokhara, much cleaner, less people and the view is stunning!
