Jesus Prayer

We live in turbulent times. All the more it is necessary to find in yourself a places of silence and peace. For years now I have been practicing a prayer that is connected to the breathing. This Prayer is celebrated on Mount Athos in Greece by monks for centuries. It goes back to the Greek formula'Kyrie Eleison, Christe Eleison'.
According to the demand of the Apostle Paul, "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thess 5:17), to pray during inhalation tranquil
'Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God',
then pause for a brief moment. The tension that is created in the abdomen and chest cavity through inhalation trace, then release and exhale with the idea,
´Have mercy on me.´
This awareness of your own breathing which the connection to Jesus, causes in me over the years, good effects, both my physical and mental condition.
