□Dental checkup and "SUBWAY" / 歯科検診とSUBWAY

The day before yesterday I went to the dental checkup of my elder son. He gets a checkup and fluorine coating once every 3 months.


一昨日は長男の歯科検診に行ってきました。３ヶ月に一度、検査とフッ素塗布をしてもらっています。

Results of the inspection was good. The dentist said, "The inside of your son's mouth is very beautiful and the state of the gums has also improved since last time. You did well his tooth brushing despite having a small baby." Finally, the dentist applied the apple flavor fluoride to my son's teeth. And the the dental checkup was over.


検査の結果は良好。

「お口の中はとても綺麗ですよ。前回より歯茎の状態も良くなっています。お母さん、小さい赤ちゃんがいるのによく仕上げ磨きを頑張っていらっしゃいますね」

と、褒められました。

リンゴ味のフッ素を塗ってもらって終了です。

On the way home, my son said that he need a reward because there was no dental caries. No, no... the dentist praised me, not you. But if he tries to brush his teeth firmly by giving reward, it is also good. We decided to eat out as a reward.
He looked at the signs of "SUBWAY" in front of the station and said he wanted to eat sandwiches.


帰り道、虫歯がなかったのだからご褒美をくれと言い出した長男。

いやいや… 褒められたのは私なんだけどな。と思いつつ、それで歯磨きへのモチベーションが上がるならばと、ご褒美に何か食べて帰ることにしました。

駅前でSUBWAYの看板を見て、食べたいと言い出したので中へ。

This is his first time at "SUBWAY". Here, the clerk makes a sandwich in front of us. My son was very excited.


長男は初SUBWAYです。目の前で野菜をサンドしてくれる様子が面白いらしく、興奮気味。

「ぴっ、ピクルスは入れないで！」などと店員さんに注文をつけていました。

The sandwich was so big that it was difficult for him to eat it. "SUBWAY" sandwiches are big for adults as well.


いざ食べようとすると、「母さん～ パンが口に入らない」

確かにSUBWAYのパンって、大人でも口に入らないよ…

Onion is hot, the amount of vegetables is too much... He complained a lot, but could manage to eat the sandwich somehow.


その後も、タマネギが辛いだの量が多いだの、具がハミ出して来るだの… 散々文句を言いながら平らげました。
