Hello Steemians of the Japanese Community. Today you will meet a species of stingless bee that inhabits small holes in walls or trees.

Why are stingless bees reared in South America?

1. They participate in the pollination of cultivated plants.
2. Normally this type of bee produces little honey but with high healing properties.
3. They are used for basic and applied research on flying insects.

Throughout the world there are more than 15,000 types of bees, large, small, aggressive, sociable, working, looting, with or without sting and in South America there are about 400 species with no sting or meloponinos.
