Eel biscuits うなぎサブレ
I got a nice souvenir from Shunkado's eel biscuit. The eel pies of Shunkado are famous, but there is also an eel biscuit.
お土産で春華堂のうなぎサブレをいただきました。
春華堂のうなぎパイは有名ですがうなぎサブレもあるんですね。
Powder of eel is in this biscuit.
サブレにはうなぎの粉が入ってるそうです。
The eel is stamped.
うなぎの「う」の字の形をしたうなぎが刻印されています。
This biscuit contains the eel powder but does not taste eel, the taste is delicious ordinary biscuits. It is said that you will become healthy if you eat eel from long ago. I would like to become healthy by eating this.
うなぎの粉が入ってるそうですがうなぎの味はしません、味は美味しい普通のサブレですね。
これを食べて元気になって夏場を乗り越えたいと思います。

Kinakomochi, the eel biscuit is so cute! I love the little stamp on the biscuit. It must be delicious and if the eel powder, that is added to it, makes it more healthy, I would just love it! Thank-you for sharing your story with us!

Very interesting. Like you said, I have heard a lot about their unagi pies, but never their biscuits. I will have to try both the next time I go to Japan!
