Good choice! Batu Ferringhi has the best beach and shangri la resort is one of the best, with a private beach if I am not wrong.

@jrvacation, you are right. Shangri la resort's beach is private use for the hotel guests! It was very quiet and peaceful around the hotel. We would like to have a holiday there again!
