MakerDAO: DAI It Forward Campaign

Coronavirus has been hitting our lives and we all have been affected by it one way or another. So many businesses and industries have also been hit hard by coronavirus.
Even though some restaurants have been open for take outs and deliveries, food and beverage industry has been pretty devastated durint this pandemic.

In Japan, state of emergency has been lifted and business are opening up again. To help suport reopening restaurant businesses, Maker Foundation, builders of DAI, started a social media campaign.

"日本の飲食店を応援してDaiを受け取ろう" 7/8 - 7/23/2020

-> Support food and beverage industry and receive DAI.

1. Go to your favorite restaurant and order foods (take outs) and take pictures.
2. Post the name of the restaurant and pictures on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram using hashtag "#Dai好物"(my favorite food).

But the thing is... this campaign is only for Japanese restaurants 🙁

MakerDAO and DAI have bee used anywhere in the world and anybody can use DAI to support their lives, businesses or projects. Restaurant businesses that need help and support are everywhere.
I think their idea is great but they kind of missed the mark on that...
Hopefully other "Makers" will see this and start their pay it forward campaigns everywhere on this plant.

Anyhow, if you are in Japan, this would be a great way to promote your local business and favorite food!
