Impressions of Italy - Eindrücke aus Italien!

Hey guys! Enjoying Italy without tourist crowds is a dream and this dream is possible. Piombino does not have the long sandy beaches, but many locals and a few quiet and beautiful stone beach coves. My plan was not to lie at the beach. I wanted to explore the area around me and it is amazing what you get to see during walks like this. The beginning of my tour was from my holiday apartment, I was planing to use the road to the city center. This time my aim was not the downtown of Piombino, it was the road along to the city centre. The streets were partially swept as empty, because at lunchtime Italians want to have it quite and they really like to avoid the midday heat. Except for a snake that almost scared me to death, I hardly had human souls around me. Even the cemetery on the outskirts was deserted ^^ haha ​​^^. I thought about getting a racket with a ball to play a little bit at the beach in the evening. It was "Siesta - Time" and no one wanted to make business during this time. The racket seller was sleeping, too. I kindly woke him up and regretted it later, as my racket did not even last half an hour and split in two after the first game. Shit happens! The atmosphere at the water towards the sea was fantastic!

Hallo an alle da draussen! Italien abseits der ganzen Touri - Massen ist auch mal schön. Piombino hat zwar nicht die supper langen Sandstrände zu bieten, jedoch viele Einheimische und ein paar ruhige und wunderschöne Steinstrandbuchten. Mein Plan war es nicht am Strand zu liegen, ich wollte erstmal die Gegend um mich herum erkunden und es ist schon der Wahnsinn was man alles während einem Spaziergang so zu sehen bekommt. Der Weg würde mich in die Innenstadt führen, jedoch war nicht die Innenstadt mein Ziel sonder der Weg selber. Die Strassen waren teilweise wie leer gefegt, denn zur Mittagszeit wollen die Italiener erstmal ihre Ruhe und meiden die Mittagshitze. Bis auf eine Schlange, die mich fast zu tote erschreckt hat habe ich kaum menschliche Seelen um mich gehabt. Selbst der Friedhof am Stadtrand war menschenleer ^^haha^^. Ich überlegte mir einen Schläger mit Ball zu besorgen, um Abends am Strand ein wenig zu spielen. Siesta war auch hier nicht zu übersehen, denn der verantwortliche Verkäufer wollte anscheinend keine Geschäfte machen und zog seinen Mittagsschlaf erstmal vor. Freundlich weckte ich ihn auf und bereute dies jedoch später, da mein Schläger nicht mal ne halbe Stunde am Strand ausgehalten hat und sich in zwei Teile nach dem ersten Spiel teilte. Die Atmosphäre am Wasser in Richtung Meer war dafür traumhaft!

Der Weg ist mein Ziel!

Wenigstens waren die Katzen ziemlich harmlos :)

Der Friedhof ist heute nicht mein Ausflugsziel...

... jedoch habe ich den Schritt ins innere gewagt, da die Gräber etwas anders als in Deutschland ausschauen

Zur Mittagszeit wird in Italien geschlafen

Nach nur einem Spiel war mein Schläger kaputt :(

Zur Mittagszeit ist alles geschlossen, ausserdem ist es auch viel zu warm draussen

Ich mag das Gebäude in rosa sehr :)

Und der Garten daneben ist auch schön anzuschauen
