This year in july I spent a week in Viserba di Rimini, Italy. Near this village there is a theme park called "Italia in miniatura" (miniature Italy) where you can see lots of italian and some european buildings and monuments in scale.
I will show you some photos I took to the first Italian region you see when you enter the park: the isle of Sicily.

This is a miniature of St. John of the Hermits church in Palermo, the capital of region Sicily. This church was converted into a mosque by the Islamic after the 6th century, then was turned back into a christian church when the Norman conquered Sicily. It is peculiar for the red domes.

I love the bonsais put as little trees near it. / Adoro i bonsai messi vicino a mo' di alberi.

Now we move to Catania, the second big city in Sicily. They made a miniature of the Castello Ursino (Bear Castle), one of the royal castles of Emperor Frederick II, King of Sicily. Now it's property of the city and hosts a museum.
