Steve Rothery ( Marillion )

Steve Rothery nasce in South Yorkshire precisamente a West Melton ed e membro di uno tra i piu rappresentativi gruppi del Neo-Progressive.
Nel suo stile possiamo assaporare le influenze di gruppi storici degli anni 70 , tra tutti i Genesis gli Yes i Pink Floyd , insomma il meglio del Progressive di quel periodo.
Sicuramente non ha raggiunto la fama che secondo me gli spetterebbe , ed é anche per questo il motivo del mio volervelo segnalare in questo post , sicuro anche che qualcuno apprezzerà , io senza esitazioni lo inserisco tra i migliori 10 chitarristi del panorama Rock , anche se leggendo sui vari siti del settore si puo notare come l'assolo del brano Easter venga inserito nella Top dei migliori 10 assoli di chitarra di tutti i tempi.
