Negli anni successivi Lewis fa quello che può ma la McLaren poco competitiva ed è poco affidabile e quindi nel 2014 Hamilton passa alla Mercedes ed in questa stagione si giocando il titolo le 2 mercedes di Hamilton e Rsoberg perché la Mercedes aveva sviluppato un motore molto migliore rispetto alle altre case in base al nuovo regolamento e finirà con Hamilton campione del mondo per la 2 volta .
Nel 2015 lo stesso Hamilton domina quasi tutte le gare lasciando gli altri corridori lottare per la 2 posizione cosi va a conquistare il 3 titolo mondiale .
Mentre nel 2016 la Mercedes è sempre molto avanti rispetto alle altre case ma questa stagione lotterà per tutta la stagione con il suo compagno di squadra e rivale Rosberg e durante la stagione se ne danno di santa ragione fino all'ultima prova di campionato dove la spunterà Rosberg per poi annunciare il suo ritiro da campione del mondo .
Nella stagione 2017 la ferrari compie un notevole passo in avanti e risulta essere molto più prestazionale rispetto alla Mercedes e nelle prime gare Hamilton è costretto a chiudere sempre dietro a Vettel ma poi nella seconda parte di stagione la Mercedes senza mai sbagliare un strategia e Hamilton e la ferrari con Vettel commettendo qualche errore di troppo perdono il titolo facendo cosi laureare Hamilton campione del mondo per 4 volta .
Nella stagione 2018 abbiamo visto che è stata la fotocopia del 2017 con una ferrari molto prestazionale ed una Mercedes perfetta nelle sue strategie ed in questo campionato la ferrari e risultata molto affidabile e precisa ma Vettel butta via il campione nella gara di casa a Monza dove alla 3 curva si tocca con Hamilton e si gira ripartendo dall'ultima posizione e riuscendo a chiudere in 5 posizione e proprio qui perde numerosi punti che gli costa il 2 campionato dopo una stagione perfetta da parte della ferrari facendo conquistare ad Hamilton e alla Mercedes il 2 mondiale di fila ed il 5 mondiale costruttori di fila .
Hamilton da ormai diversi anni è anche diventato il volto della Formula 1 e lo vediamo nei suoi atteggiamenti pregare dove va in giro per il box in monopattino o scherza con i fan e per questo è molto apprezzato da tutto il pubblico del mondo mentre gli altri piloti sono molto tesi e stanno sempre nelle proprie monoposto ad aspettare inizio della gara .
Lewis Hamilton nelle prossime stagione punta a battere il record di Schumacher e gli rimangono ancora 19 vittorie forse battuto questo record Hamilton vorrà provare a vincere in una delle sue ultime stagione in Formula 1 con un altra monoposto e si vocifera della ferrari ma questa conferma ce la potrò dare solo il tempo ma adesso da qui a qualche hanno rimarrà sempre in Mercedes perché oltre ad essere diventata una seconda famiglia per lui ha anche il miglior pacchetto al momento tra squadra e macchina .
