Ciao Steemians!

Non sono religioso ma non ho nulla contro le religioni, alcune di esse le trovo davvero interessanti ed hanno valori molto profondi. Viviamo in un mondo libero ed ognuno é libero di fare le proprie scelte. Un tempo ero Cattolico ma poi ho smesso per una serie di motivi ed ho deciso di credere esclusivamente in ciò che vedo e posso toccare con mano. Sono quelle che considero semplici scelte di vita.
Seppur non sia credente le chiese mi son sempre piaciute perché sono piene di storia sia dentro che fuori, alcune di esse sono delle vere e proprie opere d'arte.
E come anticipato nel titolo del post l'arte è arte da qualunque luogo, credo o natura provenga e la apprezzo per quel che rappresenta: creare e saper stupire sono due doti che considero fondamentali per la crescita interiore di ogni essere vivente.
Alcune, come quella dove ho fatto gli scatti di questo post non sono un granché da fuori, ma dentro l'ho trovata davvero bella.
Sto parlando del convento dei Cappuccini di Châtillon ( Valle d'Aosta - Italia) e della sua chiesa: costruito nel 1626 ed adibito a caserma nel 1802, decisione presa all'epoca dal Governo Francese, i frati tornarono successivamente a poter disporre nuovamente della chiesa nel 1817.
La semplicità delle Chiese dei Frati Cappuccini mi ha sempre affascinato, lo dimostrano anche con il loro abbigliamento portando i sandali, il quale è uno dei simboli che rappresenta la loro scelta di vivere in povertà. Quasi assenti i cimeli dorati, un colore che personalmente trovo un po' troppo esuberante come allestimento degli interni.
Vi lascio dunque con una breve carrellata di scatti che ho fatto usando il mio Smartphone Huawei P10 Lite e la mia macchina Sony DSC-RX 100.

I'm not religious but I have nothing against religions, some of them I find really interesting and have very deep values. We live in a free world and everyone is free to make their own choices. Once I was a Catholic but then I quit for a series of reasons and I decided to believe only in what I see and I can touch. They are what I consider simple life choices.
Although I'm not a believer, I have always liked churches because they are full of history inside and outside, some of them are real art's job.
Like anticipated in the title of the post art is art from everywhere, believe or nature that comes and I appreciate it for what it represents: creating and knowing how to amaze are two qualities that I consider fundamental for the inside growth of every living being.
Some, like the one where I made the shots of this post are not really beautiful from outside, but inside I found it really beautiful.
I am talking about the Capuchin monastery of Châtillon (Valle d'Aosta - Italy), built in 1626, and used as a military base in 1802, a decision taken by the French Government, the friars returned to be able to dispose of their church again in 1817.
The simplicity of the churches of the Capuchin Friars has always fascinated me, they also prove it by wearing their sandals, which is one of the symbols that represents their choice to live in poverty. Inside there are no golden things, a color that I personally find a little bit too exuberant as internal design.
