Hurricane Irma: Please Evacuate Miami

It is Thursday morning in Miami, Florida and Hurricane Irma is headed directely towards the Sunshine State. Irma has ravaged the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and parts of Cuba. Please everyone in South Florida, make your way North and get to safety.

2 weeks ago, Hurricane Harvey destroyed the 4th largest city in the United States, Houston. Over 60 people have died from that devastating weather event. Entire neighborhoods were ruined. There is over $150 Billion in damages. It was the worst storm to ever hit our country.

But now Irma is looking to be the worst Hurricane to hit the Florida Coast. 20 years ago, Hurricane Andrew destroyed Florida and worked its way up the East Coast. Irma is already stronger and more powerful. Florida Governor, Rick Scott has ordered an evacuation of the Florida Keys and South Beach.

Please everyone in Irma's path, get to safety. Remember this, you can always replace a home or a car, but you can't replace a life. God speed and Good Luck!
