Introspective Irish Landscape
County Cork Countryside
I took this photograph on a wet spring day in County Cork, Ireland.
I love the rain drops on the barbed wire and the stormy skies. It rained most of the day that day but it stopped long enough for us to park the car and jump out to take a few shots.
A total contrast to the weather we are having in the South of England right now. 😁

Cloudy sky perfect background for raindrops on fence. Nice photo.
Ah yes. I hadn't spotted that @steven-patrick. 😊
I like that ink sky. It's like the rain's trying to wash it. Thanks @gillianpearce
How very romantic @madlenfox. That's a lovely description. Thank you. 😊
That looks like our weather today! Wonderful photo!
Oh dear. It's the complete opposite of our weather today @melinda010100. We seem to be stuck in a continuous summer this year. 😊

Great shot - very moody. I visited Ireland last summer - the Ring of Kerry is incredible, but I didn't make it to Cork.
Thank you. We didn't make it to Cork either @benadapt but we did travel around the Ring of Kerry and the peninsula below. It was all as beautiful as I imagined it would be. 😊
My Irish side of the family came from Cork. :-)
Have you been there @manorvillemike? 😊
No, I'm planted in USA. :-)
