Will Commodities end their Downward Trend soon?

My fellow Steemians,

Since 2011 most of the commodities are trapped in a downward trend channel. Despite the declining trend the commodity sector marked a significant bottom in 2016.

The following chart from Kimble Charting shows that the commodity sector (DBC) broke a significant short term resistance (2) and now has room to move to the top of the downward channel (1).

If it should break that 7-year resistance line, we should see an explosion in commodity prices and equities.
