KMI, WY and NVGN

A few equity investments I am following, KMI, WY and NVGN

KMI - Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. Though they are energy you should think of them more as a utility. Yes they have gone through some rough times recently but they own enough pipeline to circle the earth 3 times and all that pipeline leads to terminals for the processing of fossil fuels and liquefied gasses. They have also started to purchase tankers, forward thinking by the company, for when the US economy rebounds. Yes I own shares but I think it is a well managed company and definitely worth a look especially at the $21 price point that it is at now

WY - Weyerhaeuser is a REIT that operates under a few different segments, timberlands, wood products, cellulose and real estate. Pays a good dividend and if you think the US economy is going to be turning around it would be a good investment as they supply lumber for residential building and they build single family homes. Pays a healthy dividend, however it is trading at a 52 week high. If you believe the US economy is going to do well then a worthwhile investment, especially if you are a value investor.

NVGN - Novogen is a highly speculative company that is developing proprietary technologies, one in conjunction with Yale University that are meant to combat multiple forms of cancer. At $1.83 and a one year target estimate of $5 it is worth looking at if you have a few extra shekels to throw around. There should be Phase I results coming out about the drugs in the pipeline in the not too distant future.

Looking for companies trading at 52 week lows or close to it that are well managed, just beaten up by something.
