Double The Amount You Save Every Day. No, Lets Try Something More Doable

This is going to a fun little experiment that should show off the power of exponential growth. Have you ever seen those things that say, save a penny today, double that tomorrow and in only 30 days you can have saved over 10 million? Thats the power of exponential growth. I won't be able to do that because I don't have that much. But what if you saved a different way? Save a penny today, two pennies tomorrow, 3 the next day... and keep going on. How much will you have after a month? A little bit of google sheets will show us the answer.

In 30 days, you will have saved $4.65. Now lets keep that going on for another 30 days and see how much we'll save with that.

$18. Not bad, not as high as doubling every day, but certainly a lot more doable. Now, what happens if you keep it going for yet another 30 days?

$40. Not bad. A year?

$667. Not a bad number. Now imagine this. Instead of saving that as USD, what if you saved that much STEEM and powered it up? Power up 0.01 STEEM today, 0.02 STEEM tomorrow and keep it going. In a year, you'll be powering up about 3 STEEM a day, and have over 600 SP. It wouldn't be a incredible expense right away either as you'll slowly gain SP and be able to use that to gain even more SP. You won't just have 667 SP in a year, you'll have that at a minimum if you did this. So why not do it? Whats stopping you? It won't take much the first month, barely 5 STEEM needs to be powered up total then. And as you keep going and growing, you'll be adding more and more to your STEEMPOWER. So give it a try for a month. Start at a higher number if you can. Start investing in your future. You'll thank yourself then.
