I think your comments are spot on and intriguing way to view Steemit. I would one other very real value comparison. As we can see the market has it's cyclical performance. Every 7 to 8 years , it seems to correct or revalue itself based on economic realities. So...if you were making such a decision today, why would I get into an overpriced market for "dividend sake" and see my portfolio value shrink over the next 2-3 years if there is indeed a correction. Especially, if one were to chase yield. The higher the yield , the more risk involved (which is the reason they have to entice with a high yield). Just some thoughts.
