The Wise Sloth's introduction post on Steemit
My name is Travis Haan, and I have been writing The Wise Sloth blog since 2009, which, as my header already tells you, "contains editorial, philosophical, instructional, inspirational and satirical posts in the form of essays, lists, comics, and fiction, which tend to be irreverent, humorous and controversial." It’s updated a few times a month usually. For a comprehensive explanation of why I write The Wise Sloth, see my last post: "Why do I write The Wise Sloth blog?"

I've self-published several compilations of my blogs into E-books, which are for sale on Amazon along with a growing list of other books not related to The Wise Sloth. They're listed below with their blurbs as they appear on Amazon. In addition to the books for sale on Amazon, I also I wrote and "illustrated" a collection of E-comic books using screenshots of stock Google Sketchup models, which are available for free on Tapastic.
You can also follow me on Reddit, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, StumbleUpon, Medium, Flipboard and Deviant Art.
When new blogging platforms pop up I propagate my content to them. I've been saying for years I wish someone would invent a new blogging/social networking hybrid site like Myspace. So I was excited to learn about Steemit. I've been writing and promoting myself effectively for free all these years as a community service and to justify my existence. Since I've never been paid for my work aside from a few small donations, I was elated to here about Steemit's business model, and like everyone else, I'm here to jump in with both feet.
I've got a backlog of 540 blogs to post here. So that's going to take a few months. I'm going to start from the top of my table of contents and go down. So the first 20 or so blogs will be about sex, but I've written more about economics, politics, philosophy and futurology. I hope you enjoy reading my content as much as I've enjoyed writing it. I look forward to reading your posts and talking about the topics we share an interest in.
How to Survive the Trumpocalypse

Using Gonzo-style journalism, the essays were selected to answer the questions, how did Trump win the presidency, what does it mean for America, and what should we do now? "
Why: An Agnostic Perspective on the Meaning of Life

Hi @wisesloth. Through the consensus of the Steemit hive mind, many have chosen the tag #introduceyourself as the commonly used tag for introduction posts. I would encourage you to edit your tag and join the hive consensus. :-)
Great choices here. I think the Bible is a disclosure document, a codex, to hide and reveal the details that outline humanities slavery from birth via the birth certificate and the hidden language of the Glossa and american sign language. Look up the Justinian Deception if interested.
I'm looking that up right now
Welcome to Steemit, @thewisesloth! Good to have you on board.
