My introductory post

Dear Community,

Here is what I'm interested in these days.
Enjoyment of songs, music. Expression
I grew up in a house with music. But....
Well...
Mom had studied opera growing up. And Dad studied piano and violin. But for both of them there was a secret mysterious torment... once they were performing an operatic aria. Mom singing and Dad accompanying on piano. A small crowd of our Italian neighbors gathered outside to listen and applaud. It seemed to frighten Mom and Dad and they never did it again. Music was somehow a watcher in our lives. I don't know how else to describe it. It has haunted me my whole life.... Mom and Grandma would always say. "Listen to the music, listen to the opera, it's so beautiful".
There are members of my family who have performed at Carnegie Hall as well as professionally. According to Dad, he was given the opportunity to play a Stratavarius and turned it down.
I am on a life journey to make music a positive force in my life and the lives of my audiences. Can I do it?

I would like to share this video.
At the time I was working on it several months ago I was completely absorbed by it. The idea of and the dream for many people of coming to New York. For some it is the biggest dream of all. There is so much more that can be said and has been said......
