The Challenges of Life Made Me Who I AM

Hi, I am Eunice Marie, a woman who has the mind set and the discipline to reflect and meditate in knowing my purpose.

Life will bring situations and people in our life for a purpose to make us better or bitter depending on how we react to these gifts. Time will bring us together with people that we thought that we never been with before and the universe draws people away from us and put us in a difficult challenge so that we can discover oneself.

I used to be a girl who is scared to make a single step forward towards life's destiny. I used to decline every great opportunity because of the "negative IF's " that would result to being scared to what might happen in the future. One example of it was the job offer in Korea. Imagine! all expenses are covered - to mention: process fee, plane ticket, apartment and food - but despite of the offer I declined it. Thinking about it now somewhat makes me have a big sigh but nonetheless this is in the past. This is one of the many experiences I had that gave me important lessons on how to deal life.

As I go along with life at that time, I did my usual routine (house-work-house-work) everyday. In other words work to survive. At that time, I failed most of my entire life and rarely succeed. I got myriads of rejections and criticisms. I remained silent and ignored it. However, the rejections and criticisms keep on making flashbacks of how a "failure" I am. It made me more less confident and made me more hesitant to make a small step forward. As a result, every time I do it again I always gain the same outcome.

One day, I decided to stop planning about tomorrow and stop for a while to reflect and meditate. I even watched and read inspirational messages to ease the pain and to lessen the burden I have been bearing. No one can help you but yourself. Having this practice taught me to have guided mind set and discipline. Realization and Guidance opened up a new path for me. It changed me. I dared to make a small step to move forward towards life despite of the uncertainty. How I deal with these changes will determine my HAPPINESS. If I don't develop the ability to go thru change then I will be stuck in this difficult stage and will have a miserable life to live.

Every time a new challenge of life blocks my way, I always think of the purpose of why it came and of what lesson that I will gain to make myself better. I know it is not easy to face and to fight it but as long as I take the challenge willingly to rise and try again despite of the result,I will eventually fulfill its purpose in me. The more I ignore the obstacle, the more it will chase me over and over again and it will not go away because its purpose is to change me for the better and it will not stop chasing me until I achieve its purpose. With it, I make the best of me which is " THE IMPROVED ME" .
