A "not so newb" re-introduction....
Hello Steemit! My name is Flick and I am really excited to be here. I love the idea behind this currency/network and I thank the makers first and foremost.
This is me....Flick 
A little bit about me. I am a happily married father of two awesome children. I live in Texas, but I grew up in Atlanta. Computers and technology are a huge interest of mine. Because of my interest in tech, I am naturally intrigued by cryptocurrency and the future of the blockchain.
These are my kiddos, they wanted to be in the post when they saw my picture. My oldest first....!
And the little one.....
Currently, we live paycheck to paycheck like most Americans. I am saying this because I want you guys to understand that I am poor. I do not have much but I am HIGHLY optimistic about the future of crypto, as are many. Because of this I plan to start with literally nothing and trade/invest over time and show you guys the success or failure I have.
Hopefully this will, in the end, be a success story and will inspire many of you to do the same! I believe this is going to be way bigger than you are currently seeing with BTC. I am a little late, as are any of you thinking about getting into crypto's. However I truly feel this is going to change my life.
Feel free to call me an idiot, or cheer me on. I do not really care. I just hope to show the ups and downs of a beginner in this market and the epic success or failure one can achieve.

Thanks! Most of my posts will be about my journey through crypto...but there will be some cool tech/nerdy stuff and most likely some political posts as well. I will do my best to keep things interesting.

I used to live paycheck to paycheck ; i started my own business helping others ; and i must say ever since i started this i have been quite successful ; i have helped a few people start up on youtube and twitch playing video games for a living, i have helped people set up their own affiliate market on other social media platforms, and one is even writing her second book on spirituality while her first is being typed up and soon to be published !
Im sure you will love the community, as well as the platform ; perhaps if you would like to collaborate i can show you a little bit more about what i do - maybe you can start your own online empire !

Thanks for the reply and you sound like a pretty great person. Even if I can just make 100k over the long run off of crypto, I have secured my kids educations which is my driving motivator. I am pretty tech savvy but I am very new to this scene so I may reach out to go. Thanks again for your interested and interaction.
i wont lie ; personally i believe the education system needs to change - you are much better off home schooling your children, due to the fact that they can chose what they want to learn - and they can be taught critical thinking and use of the knowledge rather than being tested on memory .
Although that is just my personal opinion ; i have been helping people recently so if you ever want to work from home, we can start up a project together and it takes no time at all .
not only that i have been working on this and getting no funds in return ; it is simply a pay it forward system .
Although the crypto stuff is easy ; buy low - sell / trade high, i use a few different things to help me earn a little bit of SBD here and there, i could show you my referral links if you would like - it should help you get started a little quicker .

I use this to watch videos or play games while im not at home, and it earns small bits of SBD ; that you can easily transfer to your steem account - i use it to send SBD to small resteem services and stuff like that since i still dont have a large dedicated follower count .
i just set up 3 or 4 videos ; put my computer on mute and fall asleep or go run errands .
I have recently seen this one as well ; just learning it but it seems to be a little bit better looking although for some of the stuff to work you need to send the creator a small amount
I have yet to redeem anything from the second link so far ; but i am still looking for a reason to do that, and the referral / affiliate links help me out a little bit too ; so long as people keep using the service it provides .

Pretty much anything. Urbex, landscape, city, even tried my hand at candid people photography. I’m just starting out, but my current submissions give a fair sample of what I’ll be posting.
