New beginnings
Hello everybody!
I'm a Slovak girl (if I can call myself like this in my thirties) living in Switzerland for many years. I lived in Czech Republic and Belgium as well but Switzerland has stolen my heart.
I have been working in finance for 9 years but these are my last months as I'm on a garden leave now.
Having said that, you can imagine that I had a tough time to decide what to do further with my life..
I've been stuck in finance for so long but my passion has always been somewhere else. Are you asking where?
Let me tell you..
I was thinking about leaving my job for so long but I have never done it. You know the usual like secured monthly income, paying the bills, being afraid of taking the risk and many many more. I'm sure plenty of you can relate.
Now the decision was taken for me and I'm very happy that I can try to turn my passion into profession. I have really needed this kick from my life to start thinking about myself and what makes ME happy.
I will be traveling in next couple of months and sharing my impressions with you. My aim is to create vegan travel guides to make traveling easier for vegans, people in transition or anybody who loves good food.
I will also study raw cooking and hopefully open a vegan bistro next year (which would be my ultimate dream) but I will tell you more about it in the near future. I'll share my food pictures with you too :)
I hope you will like my posts. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and interacting with you!

If I can advise you one more time, go and check @dustsweeper. If I would upvote your comment you wouldn't get anything cause my vote is only $0.01. I am devouring your past posts right now, as I have always been incredibly interested in people's travels and the adventure they find through them.
You have not wasted those 9 years in finance...Your mind has been working on a grand-vision. I love the idea of the bistro too...I myself am actually vegetarian, although I do not drink milk either, well I do but it is almond/oat-milk.
I am incredibly excited to see where life takes you, amazing to have crossed paths with you 😁

Sure, it was not a wasted time :) I learned so much that I can use for my bistro too.. It's just a little step from vegetarian to become vegan though ;)
