Introduction post
I am approaching my second month on steemit and it is about time that I introduced myself.
I am an Australian, a community pharmacist, an origami enthusiast and a first time blogger.
One of my personal goals I would like to achieve is to publish an origami book which encourages people to look at an established model and make it their own. I have a working title of 'Ten Amazing Things You Can Make With a Fortune Teller'
I've joined steemit because it is hard to create in a void, having encouragement and constructive feedback makes all the difference in the world.
I am not a professional photographer or editor. So practice in these fields is essential.
I have a rough time frame of around two years which I believe is reasonable considering I'm working full time.
Cost is realistically $500 for a small print run, less if it is picked up by a publisher.
My second goal is to attend one of the two major origami conferences in the world held in Japan and America. Cost is significantly higher considering airfare and accommodation and time needed off work.
High five if you can find the crane in my picture.
What are some other people's goals for Steemit?

Hi @veronicacoli did I read your blog correctly that you have a masters in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education? I like the brickwork of the little houses you posted. Lovely to meet you.

Im sure you'll achieve your goal in less than 2 years, steemit seems to help you a lot.cant wait to see the book. My goal is to spread creativity/origami.Show the posibilities and entertainment of limited and or simple materials.

High five :) I like the multifaceted nature of your posts. They are rarely just about one thing. I'm also very happy that you post about origami.

Impressive. Welcome to steemit. What about an e-book first? that way you wont have the costs
I haven't looked into ebooks yet. I would still like to print at least one copy because I want to be able to hold it and say this is what I have created.
Happy soon-to-be-2 months Steemit anniversary!! I like your posts too, your origamis are so neat and cute and tidy. Thank you for sharing always and I think I see your crane too hehe... It is really small and blended with the background! High five! I hope you will get to publish the origami book because you are really good at it :)
Thank you @marblely, high five for finding the crane.
Is that Gordon Ramsay? The chef? If so I have never seen him look so friendly. Excellent find.
