UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
“Do not cross oceans for people who would not cross a puddle for you”
Most of us are conversant with the above excerpt which we have in one way or the other programmed our mindset based on that. Sometimes, I wonder why most of us do things for people in order to get something back. Life and love is not about what you gain it is about what you give. We do not have to do favors just because the recipient has done similar for us or is capable of doing the same for us. If we could all be more appreciative and not take people for granted because they are willing to do that much for us, it would be easier for each and every one of us to do things with no conditions attached.
In a relationship where both of you are partners and just friends having this particular mindset, do you think that such relationship would move forward? You both might keep going in circles if both of you are waiting for the other to cross oceans before crossing a puddle for the other person. We should all try to change this mindset and stop trying to take advantage of each other. We should be more appreciative and learn to do things unconditionally, if we can thrive to do this, the world would be a better place and remember that it all begins with the man in the mirror.
