An ode to my love for writing and photography
Hello, Steem community my name is Justin Enriquez and I am a student journalist at Palomar College. I was introduced to this community by a family member who wanted to showcase my writing but I've always been nervous about writing on a platform as vibrant as this community is, the irony of everything is the fact that a journalist is nervous on writing for a community. But to talk about what I did, I was a staff writer and an opinion editor for The Telescope and IMPACT magazine, and until recently I am now a student photojournalist for the Telescope. I covered stories ranging from covering homelessness in Los Angeles to how the Mexican cartels influence the price of avocados and countless more. The topics that I plan to write about are politics, local feature stories, entertainment, photography, writing, investigative topics. I hope that you will find my topics to be intriguing and will follow my writing and my progression as a better writer for this community. My passion for writing and taking photos is just motivation to write and capture moments that will freeze time and enjoy moments to eternity.
