Hello Fellow Steemians!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Taimoor and I'm from Lahore, Pakistan. I dropped out of university in 2010 and I have been working online ever since. I joined this platform last year but I didn't have the time to properly introduce myself or to publish content on this platform. I'm a blogger/affiliate marketer, I started taking interest in cryptocurrencies last year.

Before that, I only knew about Bitcoin and I used to invest in it from time to time because I never took it seriously and I only thought that Bitcoin was the only cryptocurrency or neither did I know how I can purchase BTC using fiat currency. I first learned about BTC from a friend in 2013 and tried to mine it using CPU but eventually, I lost interest and started focusing on my other projects SEO/Affiliate websites.

I joined Coinbase back in 2013 but unfortunately, they didn't accept users from Pakistan (which is still applicable.)

Although I constantly kept checking the price of BTC and I still remember in 2016 when it was being traded at $400-450 but due to lack of knowledge, I missed the opportunity. I mostly used BTC for registering domains from Namecheap or for purchasing web hosting.

However, I have finally decided that I will focus on learning more about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology and I have recently started a blog where I intend publish tutorials, product reviews and other information that the beginners might find useful.

What Lessons Have I Learned From Recent Crypto Boom

Always perform proper research and no opportunity is big or small never underestimate the potential of emerging technologies, find something that you're passionate about and dedicated your time and effort, socialize and stay up to date and last but not the least diversify your investments

Since 2016 I have constantly made mistakes (Invested in real estate sector and lost most of my savings that I had earned over the years online

I was really depressed because of the bad decisions that I made in last 2 years, BUT when the price of BTC surged last year I started to feel even worse because of the fact that I never accumulated 1 BTC. Like I mentioned earlier I only managed to buy BTC from different sellers who were mostly selling Payza, Skrill funds.

In December 2017, I started to meet people who were mining BTC and ETH using GPUs and they were new in the field and I felt so stupid that how could I miss this life-changing opportunity. What made things worse was the fact that I was broke and I couldn't afford to purchase a mining rig. I finally decided to buy a rig in Jan 2018 and it doesn't mine much but whatever it mines I just reinvest it in Altcoins.

Now, I want to buy an ASIC miner (which is very costly i.e. Innosilicon D9 or Obelisk DCR1 or a high-end mining rig with 8-10 GPUs so that I can accumulate Altcoins and also start crypto trading.
