Hey there. Here is my first Steemit post about "introduceyourself"
Hi. I just learned steemit from my bestfriend @chris55. This unique blog attracted me to sign up. I am from mainland China and my mother tongue is Chinese. I started to learn English when I was around 13. However, the purpose of learning English is for the exams. In China, you have to pass English Test to get into university. My English is still not good enough. If I make some errors here, please feel free to tell me and it will be helpful for my English.
I really like to travel around the world. Usually, I go abroad for travelling twice a year. This photo was taken at the Dead Sea, Jordan. Before I came to Jordan, I thought Dead Sea belongs to Israel. Actually, Dead Sea is almost evenly shared by two countries, Israel and Jordan.
Moreover, I really like to hike and enjoy the natural views. In the following pics, all of them were taken in the north part of China. This place is called Zhangjiakou, well known for its nature mountains and grass.
Why choose "southers" as my name?
I come from the northern part of China. It is very cold. Especially during winter, it is chilly and frozen. However, in the southern part of China, it is warm and sometimes hot during winter. When I was a child, I dreamt to move to south. Finally, I make it.
Finally, I am glad to meet you guys here. I will share more of my thoughts and pictures here, if you all like them.

I love travel too. Can you float in the Dead Sea? I was in Vietnam. Have you been there?
I think so. My friend did swim there. She told me that it is much easier to swim compared to swim in the normal ocean. For me, I didn't because I cannot swim at all. Thus I did not try it out. Yes. I have been to Saigon and Nha Trang. I really love vietname.

What did you study?
glad to meet you here. It is Xiamen, Fujian province. not far away from Shanghai. I study ancient Chinese. btw, are you English teacher or??
I teach High School music, actually - Theory, Composition, History.
Of course, I know Xiamen, I visited once. I miss that pedestrian street!
